Best finisher in TNA
 

I just watched TNA on the Best Damn Sports show Period. They had a top 5 finishers in TNA history and The Stroke got number 1. I don't remember the other ones on the list, but how is the stroke #1. I like Jeff Jarret(probably the only person on TPWW who does) but the stroke is not nearly as good as almost any finishing move in TNA. Canadian Destroyer and Stlyes Clash are much better moves IMO. So my question is The Stroke that good of a finisher where it deserves #1? Or is that list just wrong? If anyone knows the lists would you mind posting it.

The Swanton was number 2, btw.

One reason and one reason only is why that move was number one and that's J-E- Double F, J-A- Double R,-E- Double T, Jeff Jarrett.. is HHH of TNA.

*Flipping piledriver. A spinning piledriver would be what Zangief from Street Fighter 2 does.

Picture the original, non-pussified Pedigree. Now make him lift you as well as the little jump that HHH does. Now imagine it being a sitdown move instead of just landing on your knees. Now imagine spinning the victim 180 degrees when doing it.

I've always liked Chris Daniels' double jump moonsault, forget the name.
Never seen the Canadian Destroyer but it sounds pretty sweet.

I guess that list was sort of work if you will. Not in terms of real effect/awesomeness, but in tersm of how effective they are storyline-wise.

Let me see if I can describe it. Whatr Monty does is he irish whips an opponent to the ropes. He himself bounces off another set of ropes. Then when they are about to intercept each other he leaps at them ( almost like a super shoulderblock or somethin) and sends them flyin to the mat. Not that impressive but more than The Stroke.

Yea I was surprised when I saw that the Canadian Destoyer was 5th on the list. If you ask me that should of been 1st or 2nd. That is one of the greatest moves. Its one of the few finishers in TNA that when I saw I had to just scream OH MY GOD.

I used to love the hanging dragon. But must agree that the Canadian Destroyer is currently the best one.

Also I wish Vince would let Hurricane use the Invertebreaker.

Wow! I expected more of a slam or something. But I guess it could be kinda impressive because Monty seems like a real big guy.

IMO The Pounce is a very overrated move. Along with Monty Brown being overrated. Not a bad move or a bad wrestler, but not nearly as good Iron Mike Teney makes them both to be.

I have to disagree with you on that. Monty Brown is not over-rated. I know he's not the greatest wrestler, (that would have to go to AJ Style's) but he's probably my favorite wrestler in TNA because of his charisma, and he's improved as a wrestler from 2 years ago.

My favorite finisher from TNA is the Cradle Piledriver, as it is what a piledriver is supposed to be. Though the Canadian Destroyer is nice looking, it also looks so fake, as you can see how much the other guy has to help Petey.

Every time I see the Canadian Destroyer, I still don't understand how it's possible. But it is totally tits.
