Firstly i'd like to say great turn out for the last vote, it's getting bigger every time, good work!

Americn Beauty got a 86, leaving it in joint 4th with Taxi Driver, Shame really as it's one of my all time favs, gues it probably would of helped if i actually voted.

I think that somwhere down the line i might re-submit Goodfellas for vote as iI can't see aything getting anywhere near it right now and the votes since then have seemed more realisitic.

Anyway onto todays film, A crazy fat guy who gets kills himself then all his mates go to Nam, or something like that.

Good movie, the usual Kubrick style and simplicity, but a little over the top and not enough emphasis on the actual Vietnam war.

7.5 First half is the goods, second half blows.

The way I figure, the first half is a 13, the second half is a 7. They could have shown Marci X in the second half and it would still be a 9.9 for me because the first half is the greatest shit EVER.
