9.7 One of my favorite WWII movies, and Spielberg is God and so is Tom Hanks for the most part. Just the storming of Normandy at the beginning makes it a 9 to begin with.

One of the greatest war films I have ever seen. Every thing is great and it had some of the most memorable scenes in my mind. I even laughed at some parts (yea I know laughing at people dying in this movie is bad but you gotta admit you had to laugh at how dumb that one guy was for taking off his helmet)

Once again, I'm not a huge fan of war films.

Yeah, why did he do that? I laughed when the guy said "JESUS! Lucky bastard", and how dumb he was. During that scene, when he got shot with his helmet on, did you see in the background at the guys leg shot? That was pretty nasty.

8.5. Im not too big on war films either, but I was really into this.

The best war movie ever IMO, and one of the best movies in the past ten years also IMO. One of the best scenes was when Tom Hanks told his soliders what job he did back home.

Tom Hanks also gives the best performance of his career.
