software wont uninstall...
 

HP director kept giving me an error...

So, I tried to re-install and HP detects it's there and wont.

Tried to uninstall and get the error

Deleted the printer, deleted the folders, deleted HP from the registry.

Still says "software already installed"

WTF do I have to do to get rid of this so I can re-install? Is there somewhere else in the registry I should look?

open up the contorl panel and go to add/remove progs, look through the list. :)

Ad-aware SE Pro is good :)

yeah, it's there and when I try to remove I get an error. :(

Download Iolo System Mechanic from download.com and run a registry scan etc, should fix ya problems.

yeah, I think I gotta run more stuff, it said it fixed the registry, but it still thinks it's there when I try to install it.

Also, I have nortons so I didn't install Iolo anti-virus, how good is Iolo's or should I stay w/ nortions?
