I was excited about the game until I played the demo. It completely killed any interest in it. I'll pick it up tomorrow, but I probably won't go through the trouble of putting it in the system until I'm done with Half Life 2, GTA: SA, Need for Speed Underground 2, Viewtiful Joe 2, etc etc etc etc.

Just picked it up. Best Buy had about 3 left. Can't play it until later tonight though, gonna be busy as hell today.

I am not a huge fan of the MGS series. Dunno, too much creeping, not enough killing.

Definitely caters to a different audience than a regular shoot 'em up game.

It's an acquired taste. I for one am a MGS junkie, ever since the original MG for MSX hahaha

Ok, well it's hard as hell. The AI is incredible. The warning and caution times have increased from 20 seconds to 90, and even after that the guards never fully go back to being unaware. There is a new medical pack, you fix your own wounds, heal yourself from various poisins. Overall the game is extremely realistic. Just fun, I don't know how to explain all the good stuff about this game. There is nothing bad. AT ALL.

Ok, one minor gripe. Radar is gone, now all you have is sonar. Not a bad thing, just makes things hard.

I think the one thing that is keeping me from going nuts wanting to play this game, is that it's not a sequel to Sons of Liberty, when the sequel to that comes out it will be fd';sakf'as awesome
