Nelly album Sweat
 

I think its been out for a while, but I couldn't find a thread on it already. I just started listening to it the other day and I think its one of the best rap albums I've heard. I like all of the sports references and St. Louis shoutouts and stuff, rather than threats to kill people and whatnot.

My favorite song would be "Heart of a Champion" where he samples the old NBA on NBC song. Its really good. But I think the whole album is pretty good. Anybody else heard it?

If you think that's one of the best rap albums you've ever heard, you really need to listen to more rap albums. Nelly is wicked garbage. Somebody should write a song about killing him...and then do it.

Ever since the release of Country Grammar (the CD not the single) Nelly has seemingly gone downhill in my opinion...

I liked Country Grammer (the CD). That's about it really... since then his stuff hasn't been anywhere near as good.

I remember when Country Grammar came out...all of my friends were in love with the CD. I didn't even like that one. I kept telling them that Nelly sucked a fatty. Now, they all agree.

I don't like ganster rap and I don't like listening to somebody quickly talk about shooting and fucking. Thats why I like Nelly and other such rappers. I don't care if I'm not as cultured in rap music as people here, I like the beats he uses. If you are listening to rap for the lyrics you are just a douche bag to begin with.
