Bo Jackson was the man.

Damn.

He was years ahead of everyone. Too bad about his hip. I believe he could have been the greatest pro athelete ever.

Not sure how many of you guys really got a chance to really see him.

Anyway, post your thoughts on Bo.

Bo knows ping pong.

I never really saw him play. I started watching sports in like '89 so probably he had already gotten injured. But from what I know he defeniatley was a force especially in football.

He is the man. Within the top 5 of my favorite athletes of all time. Got like 3 of his posters on the wall.

Saw him on Pro-stars cartoon, never on the field :-\

Bo knows how to run the wrong way...

LOL greatest moment ever

Bo Knows Super Bowl on NES

YOUR Hero 11-20-2004 03:43 PM

I remember when he and 'The Boz', Brian Bosworth were coming up. There was a game in Seattle and Bosworth was talking smack... Bo just ran over/through him. Oh my. He did that to a few defenders... just ran right into and over them. And Baseball. Jesus. He'd hit some 500 footers, steal bases, walk up outfield walls, you name it. Bo was also a big time track star in Auburn.

The Outlaw 11-20-2004 03:51 PM

He also ran the wrong way in the '84 Iron Bowl.  !!!

LOL The Boz

I never saw him like "live" or whatever. I've seen him play a lot though because of ESPN Classic, and other shows on EPSN or whatever. Yeah he was pretty sick at football, i've never seen much of him playing baseball.

One of his records at Auburn just got broken by Cadillac Williams

Never saw much of his actual field work, though.

Yeah, not too many running backs had his sense of style.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-21-2004 01:54 PM

Only a few seasons. It wasn't like he was horrible or anything, but he was just so over-hyped so he was a huge ass bust. He was really just an average pro linebacker.

I am thinking he played like 3 seasons for some reason, but I am not totally sure.
