Dumbass Detroit Fans

Ben Wallace and Ron Artest got into a fight and then after that Artest was laying down and some motherfuckers threw shit on Ron Artest like that, Artest sprints up the stands and punches the hell out of him, the whole fight moved INTO the stands.

ESPN right now.

Bad Guy 11-19-2004 11:45 PM

Fucking disgraceful ass motherfuckers. Dripping shit all over everyone as they leave.. the game has a minute left to go and referees have canceled the rest of the game.

Apprentice 11-19-2004 11:47 PM

haha. i just made a thread too. Man. That was some crazy stuff right there. That piston fan was totally stupid for doing that, but man. Artest was getting way too physical. I wouldn't be surprised if charges are fully pressed.

Loose Cannon 11-19-2004 11:50 PM

holy shit. This stuff with the fans interfering with the game is happening a lot these days.

Bad Guy 11-19-2004 11:51 PM

Everyone was going at everyone. I saw Artest going after the fan that started it all, I saw fans throwing punches at players, I saw fans throwing punches at fellow fans, I saw (think it was O'Neal) shoving an old white bald guy.

WOW, totally disagree with that. If someone throws stuff at me during a game, I do the same thing. That's assault.

DaveWadding 11-19-2004 11:53 PM

I bet it was splaya who threw the bottle.

Loose Cannon 11-19-2004 11:54 PM

Nah, Splaya cowered underneath the seats

Apprentice 11-19-2004 11:54 PM

I can see your point. At first, I didnt' know the fan threw anything at him. But I duno. I still think Artest and especially Stephen Jackson went over the line. Jackson was punching like multiple fans or something.

Remember, everyone thought Milton Bradley went over the line when a bottle was thrown at him and he just threw the bottle at the ground. Artest and jackson just physically assaulted multiple fans.

You're right...I give him too much credit :nono:

Loose Cannon 11-19-2004 11:58 PM

Wadding, Suns are up on the Lakes right now

Anyway, just saw the whole thing and that was just disgusting watching all those fans throw stuff at Artest when he was leaving.

Kris P Lettus 11-19-2004 11:59 PM

ahahahahahahahahaha

DETROIT WHAT

I just got home from work, cracked a beer, and turned to ESPN just in time to see the remenence of what happened..

Shitty fans..

But LMFAO at the gigantic black dude throwing hella punches..

Pretty shitty in general, though.. If they have to get more security due to this, it'll only make ticket prices higher than they already are..

Loose Cannon 11-20-2004 12:15 AM

Wow, WTF at Wallace. Way out of line

Not to get off topic, but you guys saw the first guy Artest went after right? Well the guy next to him has this blue button up Pistons shirt on that has "Wallace" on the back. What is that called and where do I get something like that? Been wanting a shirt like that. Not Pistons though.

el fregadero 11-20-2004 12:17 AM

It was my boy Ben Wallace that caused it all, he was barely fouled by Artest and he had to push him.

el fregadero 11-20-2004 12:17 AM

The warm-up outfits?

BCWWF 11-20-2004 12:22 AM

Hahahahah, I just saw it. Thats hilarious. The guy was still talking shit and then Ron kept going and all of a sudden his face turned to "holy shit" and he was brought down. The cup hit him in the fucking face! Of course he's going to do something! I guarantee he gets something severe because it was Ron Artest. And the foul wasn't even bad, WTF was Ben Wallace thinking? I rely on him for fantasy points.

Loose Cannon 11-20-2004 12:23 AM

yea, it was the warmup, but it was eathier a throwback Mitchell and Ness one or a different throwback one because it had the old school Pistons logo on it.

most likely a Nike one.

Loose Cannon 11-20-2004 12:39 AM

yea probably cause it had Wallace on the back. BTW, the guy whom I'm talking about has his hands on Artest in that pic.

Kris P Lettus 11-20-2004 12:41 AM

Damn, they just showed more footage than I originally saw..

Artest knocked some fat dude the fuck out..

*****

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-20-2004 12:44 AM

LOL O'Neil fucking laid some guy out HOLY SHIT

hahahah thats fuckin hilarious, everybody is gonna make a huge ass deal out of this now. So stupid, it was just a fight, big deal. Fights happen all the time, get over it.

Crimson 11-20-2004 12:45 AM

O'neal was the guy I think, he knocked some fat guy in a blue jersey on the court. Damn That was some crazy footage. I can see how the fans got caught up but it got way out of hand.

WHAT

This wasn't just some fight, it was a fuckin brawl. Of course it should be a big deal.

Crimson 11-20-2004 12:50 AM

Some guy started punching Artest in the back of the head on the stands too..lol damn. Then Stephen Jackson came over and punched him. Those fans deserved to get their ass kicked.

Kid Robb 11-20-2004 12:58 AM

Nothing should happen to Artest over it. If anyone on the Pacers gets a fine or suspension it'll be Stephen Jackson, he was halfway up the stand throwing punches. Can't blame any of the Pacers guys though, I mean someone picks Artest and he goes after the guy, fair enough, but when people who were "holding back" Artest start punching him in the back of the head what do you expect.

The Pistons players (or perhaps moreso the guys who were holding them back) were smart, if Wallace and Wallace had got involved in the stands it could have got even more ugly.

Tinsley was the one who belted someguy on the court trying to hold him back, just when JO came over to jump over the bench to get involved.

Players getting sprayed with shit like that, fans picking fights and invading the courts, one of the worst spectator incidents I've ever seen I reckon. The Pacers guys are lucky no one got badly hurt.

Just quietly am I the only one that reckons Stephen Jackson looks stupid with his headband like that?

YEEEEEEAH

Crimson 11-20-2004 01:32 AM

I think I have the footage now memorized with the amount of times I've watched it. Hopefeully charges come on that idiot Piston fan in the blue jersey.

RP 11-20-2004 02:07 AM

Being from Indiana. I'm not sure what to think.

On one hand i sit here a pump my chest thinking fuck yah. Serves them Moronic Detroit Pistons fans right getting there ass's kicked in the stands for that BS ( and it wasnt just that one moron either. See the footage of them being escorted out ) Those morons where pretty much just pouring there drinks out on the players as they where walking through the ramp. Tinsley had a frigging broom in his hands .
( BTW it wasnt tinsley that nailed that guy in the res. It was Oneil. I have a feeling Jermained could be gone for atleast 10 games.)

On the other hand we've been playing with a 9 man roster as it is. Now we may be playing multiple games without Artest, Oneil, and Jackson. Ironically i think Artest is the one that shouldnt be punished. He barely fouled Wallace. Wallce lost control and Artest was basically not wanting to fight. Even after it was broken up Wallace Through a towel at him. Artest was defending himself period. Though he will probably get the most punishment cause its Ron Artest .

I cant wait for CHristmas Day.

Top 3 Hits:
3. Artests pop on the Mexican guy on the court

2. Jacksons clubbing of the fan in the stands

1. Jermaine's full body jack to the face of the fat Mexican on the court

Corkscrewed 11-20-2004 02:21 AM

ECW!!! ECW!!! ECW!!!

:D

That was insane. I heard that Vince signed Jermaine O'Neal to a development contract. That punch was just SICK. Fan getting held back, comes back forward, and BAM into the guy's jaw. Fucking hilarious.

This was pretty disgraceful all around, both on the fans' part and on Artest and Jackson a bit (not as much).

We'll see a plethora of lawsuits.

SammyG 11-20-2004 02:21 AM

That was the craziest fight ever!! do u think jermaine and ron are gonna get sued? Hey, at least Artest can promote his rap album now, he'll have more than 2 weeks to do that! :D
