So when the Colts go to Detroit this thursday...

Are they gunna have to bring Artest, Jackson, and O'neal to keep those detroit fans in check? :naughty:

That should be a very instresting game. Wonder if this Indiana v.s Detroit rivalry carry over to football.

No.

RoXer 11-21-2004 06:10 PM

Shit that's on Thanksgiving? I thought that that game wasn't for a few weeks.

And no, I don't think anything will happen.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-21-2004 06:48 PM

I thought the Lions always played Green Bay on Thanksgiving?

BCWWF 11-21-2004 06:59 PM

I thought it was always the Lions and Cowboys?

RoXer 11-21-2004 07:11 PM

Cowboys and Lions almost always play on Thanksgiving. Not nessecarily eachother though.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-21-2004 07:32 PM

Oh, my bad. I thought they played each other for some reason

The Icon of Elisim 11-21-2004 07:37 PM

This is going to be pointless banter heaven for whoever gets to announce that game

Bad Guy 11-21-2004 07:38 PM

Gee I wonder who's going to win this game.

RP 11-22-2004 12:08 AM

If i was gambling. I'd take colts giving up to 21 points to detroit and still covering. There D is starting to do the job. Plus its pretty tuff when you have accounted for Harrison, Edge, and Wayne and they still have Stokely, Clark and Pollard on the feild too.

Y2Ant 11-22-2004 01:23 AM

Troy Walters is on his way back for the Colts :o

Bad Guy 11-22-2004 01:53 AM

RIP Lions on Thanksgiving.. :(

Y2Ant 11-22-2004 01:56 AM

Peyton might go easy on them, and only throw for 8 TDs.

Maybe if he squeezes them all on one half. The Second string could make another early appearence.

road doggy dogg 11-24-2004 01:49 AM

Yeah the Lions and Cowboys both always play on Thanksgiving (throwback jerseys whattt), but they don't play each other.

Detroit plays Green Bay a lot simply because they play twice every year, so the law of averages figures they'll meet up on Thanksgiving once in a while.

Anyways, Lions are probably gonna lose, but they always perform a bit better on Thanksgiving, so I see them keeping it close till at least the third quarter or so. What I'm really excited about is that since they play early this week, they get a longer rest, and Bailey's supposed to be back for next week's game so he'll have more practice time with the team. Boss Bailey will give their defense an extra boost. I'm hoping that Harrington continues bombing and McMahon finally gets the nod to go in for him. Not that McMahon is a hell of a lot better, but at least it might spark the offense a bit.

It sucks too, 'cause one my dad's bowling buddies has season tickets for the Lions, and we might get a pair for a game this season. He said there's no way he's giving up these tickets though. :D :( So we'll probably get stuck seeing the Lions/Bears game or something, lol :o Oh well though, at least they'll probably win

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-25-2004 04:55 PM

I'll take Paytons 6 TDs for my fantasy team :y:

RP 11-25-2004 08:21 PM

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-25-2004 09:36 PM

Damn, I got Reggie Wayne in my other league and I don't think he did much today

Y2Ant 11-25-2004 09:56 PM

3 catches for like 30 yards

Pollard didn't even have one catch I don't think :(

The Outlaw 11-25-2004 10:00 PM

Yeah I bet Pollard rags Peyton

Spread the ball around so much but no love for MP :(

#1-norm-fan 11-26-2004 03:05 AM

Peyton Manning will finish the year with 2,764 TD passes.
