Ric Flair almost arrested at Buffalo airport
 

My friend works security at the Buffalo airport, and apparently they had to detain Ric Flair. What happened was that Flair just came in from a really long flight, and I guess they couldn't find his baggage. Flair got really agitated and started verbally abusing the guy at the desk. The guy even wanted to press charges. :roll: My friend wasn't there when they put the handcuffs on him, but he was there when they were about to call the police to arrest him. My friend said, "You can't have him arrested! That's Ric Flair!" Long story short, they let him off with a citation thanks to my friend. After that my friend got to talk to Ric and he ended up being really cool. Benoit and Shane Helms even showed up to make sure Flair didn't get thrown in the slammer. My friend got to talk to Helms a little bit too. I want to work in airport security now.

Actually, that's pretty funny (assuming it's true), and pretty cool. Not the most typical way to meet a wrestler, but interesting nonetheless.

Good to see Flair is still sane and stable.


Doubt the only reason Flair didn't get arrested was because your friend though and if it was then that's a fucking stupid reason.

Probably not but it's cool to think he had some part in it.

If you think that someone potentually getting off easy because he's a celebirty where as the aervage person would have been taken away is cool then maybe.

Flair is a God amongst men.

A celebrity gets fame, fortune, and special treatment for standing in front of a camera, and posing on runways. They don't put their body on the line, and risk permanant injury every time they go to work. And for a guy who's been doing it so long, he can get all the special treatment he wants for all I care.

But being able to whatever he pleases. Hmm. :-\

That's a good story, and its's nice to see Flair appreciated that he was saved by a fan. Now you should get him to blackmail Flair. :shifty:

Indeed it's always nice to hear about famous people being rude pricks to people and getting away with it, I mean as long as they appreciate the guy who recognizes their divine right to special treatment.

That should have arrested Flair so that he woud be ass-raped in the slammer.

I don't think there are many guys tough enough to assrape him. He may be a geezer, but he's still a wrestler (ie. has higher pain threshold and toughness than the average Joe).

Not to mention he can look pretty psychotic. And if he slapped the Figure Four on his cellmate, I don't think they'd be feeling much pleasure. Also Flair is a pretty resilient guy.

Yeah...that high pain threshold might come in handy in jail. :shifty: It'd be hilarious to see him running from cellmates, and then doing the old man flop...

The cops probably came in the airport with handcuffs and Flair probably went to climb onto the luggage table to get away from them, but probably got thrown off by an officer :naughty:

I keep imagining Flair on his knee's pleading noo noo waving his hands and junk begging for mercy then the cop eases up and flair pokes a finger in his eye and runs.

Damn we almost had him off TV for awhile.

It's understandable why he flipped out though. If I was coming in from a really long flight just to find that my luggage was missing, I might lose it too. It's not like he tried harm the guy physicaly or anything.

[That night in some luggage warehouse.]

GUY #1: Hey!

GUY #1: I just found some guy's bag.

GUY #2: Oh, yeah? What's the tag say?
