Seeing as how it just got released on DVD, was dodgeball funny?

Thinkin about getting it but I have heard partial reviews on it.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-08-2004 05:12 PM

It had its moments. Like I laughed and stuff but it wasn't anywhere near as good as Starsky and Hutch or Anchorman

Jason Cage 12-08-2004 05:17 PM

Starsky and Hutch was shit :o

Anchorman was the shit.

Azriel 12-08-2004 05:41 PM

I'd say it's definitely worth at least a rental.

Boondock Saint 12-08-2004 06:01 PM

It was funny, not as funny as I was intending. Not sure what it was missing, but it was missing something. Not as good as Anchorman or Harold & Kumar

GET OUT OF MY HEAD

StrongMad 12-08-2004 11:50 PM

I thought it was pretty funny. Funnier than quite a few movies that I've seen, you know? Anchorman was really awesome though. And Starsky and Hutch wasn't bad either.

"Do it."

It has it's moments.

Requiem 12-09-2004 12:20 AM

I laughed like crazy. CRAZY I SAY. :shifty:

FakeLaser 12-09-2004 12:21 AM

Meh

It has Rip Torn though.

Also, cameo by Lori Beth Denburg, and she got even fatter.

Nervous Ferret 12-09-2004 01:10 AM

I already made this thread about a week ago but...
Here comes the.........Hurricane.

It was aaiiitte. Basically wha everyones been saying.

Buzzkill 12-09-2004 01:42 AM

It was alright. Had its moments, but it gets pwned by Anchorman

Bad Guy 12-09-2004 02:00 AM

It was pretty good. Although the "end credits" was supposed to be funny and it wasn't.

FakeLaser 12-09-2004 02:33 AM

If you see one comedy from this summer it's gotta be Harold and Kumar.

MrMeJW 12-09-2004 05:46 AM

No

(just to clear it up, the 'no' was directed at the question in the title)

if anyone cares, if you buy it at Costco before Monday it's $13 and change and you get a free Tshirt, so not a bad deal.

Triple A 12-11-2004 07:54 AM

Yeah exactly what Supreme said, as usual. Ben Stiller is ROFL in it though, but that is about it. Also, his wife is the hottest chick of all time in it.

Also, Harold and Kumar was the most average movie I have ever seen in my life. I don't get how anyone thinks it is special or extra funny at all. It is like an average comedy, exactly what you would expect. Nothing more. I don't even remember anything from it, so I would even go as far as to say it sucked.

FakeLaser 12-11-2004 02:49 PM

I don't know, maybe I find it hilarious because I too am a stoner from New Jersey who eats at White Castle all the time.

Jason Cage 12-12-2004 01:36 AM

Yeah I rented it, it was pretty good. The last 20 minutes were pretty dull though.

"No one makes me bleed my own blood." rofl

I had no idea harold and Kumar was getting positive reviews, I thought it sucked big time since it flopped so bad in the box office. IMDB has it at 7.3 or something.
