Not sure if this is in the right section. recording question
 

For people with bands and shit, or those who just simply record some of their own shit on a crappy mic. Is there anything I can use to even out the sounds? Like for vocals, because usually they shroud the sounds of guitar, so is there anything for it be balanced or some shit?
