Favorite Buffy the Vampire Slayer moments

So yeah, I was shocked to see how many fans we had of MMPR so I'd see if we had any people with favorite BTVS moments out there. Discuss.

The Mackem 12-09-2004 09:48 AM

Too many to choose from.

The musical one is cool, the one where the swimming team turn into monsters, anyone with Spike...

Splaya 12-09-2004 10:05 AM

What about the 2nd season love thing between her and Angel. Just some of the psychotic shit they had his character do was amazing.

RP 12-09-2004 10:27 AM

Remeber when she killed the Vampires?

Danny Electric 12-09-2004 11:38 AM

Just for the acting and the emotion, when her mom dies and she wakes up in the morning to an empty house and can't speak.

McLegend 12-09-2004 11:43 AM

When Angelus killed Jenny Calendar. Best episode in the whole series.

Splaya 12-09-2004 11:48 AM

It wasn't when he killed her, it was how he tortured Giles in the sense of putting the body up on his bed and stuff like that. That part of the show is on FX this week. Either she will kill Angelus this week or Monday, can't remember.

McLegend 12-09-2004 11:52 AM

I was talking about the episode not just that one moment. Yeah though What he did to Giles was great

Danny Electric 12-09-2004 12:21 PM

The episode with the tall men who steal everyones voices so they can't scream. Awesome episode and it scared the crap out of me.

Mr. Monday Morning 12-09-2004 12:27 PM

That one was called Hush. Probably the best ep they ever did. The one with Angel killing Jenny is called Passion, also an awesome episode.

Others:

-Fool For Love (season 5, when Spike recounts his history)
-Pretty much all of Season 3 (Eliza Dushku is teh sex)
-Storyteller (S7, where Andrew narrates a day via camcorder)
-End of S5 was pretty good (dies saving the world...should've been the real ending IMO)

Having said that, the show was pretty much made up of smaller moment after smaller moment, so a list would be humongous.

V 12-09-2004 12:35 PM

the one where she saves dawn and the rest of the world (sp?) by killing herself, and the musical episode

those were the best

Splaya 12-09-2004 01:32 PM

My biggest markout moment would have to be when she is down on the ground and Angelus is ready to stab her in the face with the sword of Decathala. He tells her What do you have left, and she is like "Me" and catches the sword in between her arms. I was like holy shit at the time.

Azriel 12-09-2004 02:06 PM

Yeah, the season 2 storyline was huge with Angelus and Buffy. So much emotion.

I thought Evil Willow was cool, but yeah, too many moments to mention. I just wished I got into this series religiously when it was actually on, but I have the DVDs now, so better late than never.

Danny Electric 12-09-2004 02:20 PM

Evil Willow :naughty:

That epiosde where it shows what would happen if Buffy wasn't around and Willow was a vamp. :naughty:

Splaya 12-09-2004 02:21 PM

HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT

The Season finale from season 2 is on FX right now

Season 3

Disturbed316 12-09-2004 06:29 PM

When Buffy dies at the end of series 5 and Evil Willow.

Azriel 12-09-2004 09:01 PM

I thought Vamp Willow was season 4

Splaya 12-09-2004 09:18 PM

No because I remember Angel was in that episode and he left Sunnydale after season 3

Mr. Monday Morning 12-09-2004 09:23 PM

She was in Season 3 twice - episode 9 The Wish (the one with the alternate universe) and episode 15 (IIRC), Doppelgangland, where EW came into the normal universe.

Azriel 12-09-2004 09:30 PM

Yeah, I just remembered that. I loved when she was evil in both the "vamp" Willow and as Evil Willow in season 6 where she said "Bored now" and just ripped someone a new asshole.

Danny Electric 12-09-2004 09:58 PM

I loved it when she said 'Bored Now.'
Massive mark-out moment, I remember that was my saying at the time.

Azriel 12-09-2004 10:18 PM

Shame that her character kinda got boring the last season.

Danny Electric 12-09-2004 10:29 PM

She had nowhere else to go though.

Splaya 12-09-2004 11:57 PM

I mean the thing was, she was a witch who kicked ass and a lesbian. Personally, it was the best character ever

Shaggy 12-10-2004 12:09 AM

I must say that Im a buffy fanatic....I own all 7 seasons on DVD and I have the soundtrack to the "Once more with Feeling" Episode where there are all singing.

There are tons of great moments in the episode but I will never forget at the end of 7 when Xander got his eye poked out. That was some bad ass stuff right there. And then when they killed Anya off in the final episode. I couldnt believe that. But I guess it had to happen some time.

Azriel 12-10-2004 01:08 AM

I am so behind on my viewing. I'm still on season 4.

Kapoutman 12-10-2004 03:27 AM

Whatever episode it is where the mayor turns into a kind of giant lizard during the graduation ceremony, and the vampires attack, but the students all defend themselves before the entire school blows up.

Azriel 12-10-2004 03:41 AM

thats the season 3 finale

Blitz 12-10-2004 02:33 PM

One of my fave eps is the season 4 finale, "Restless". There are some priceless moments in there.

Riley: We're building a plan for world domination. The key? Coffee Makers that think.

Shaggy 12-11-2004 12:59 AM

yea the ending to season 3 was really good and was my favorite episode untill I saw the musical one.

Azriel 12-11-2004 01:21 AM

"Once More With Feeling" is the bomb.

Anybody ever remember the Maxwell House commercials the guy who played Giles was in?

Champion of Europa 12-11-2004 10:50 AM

Having happily never watched the show, I can safely say: probably the lesbianness.
