Which was the better lead HHH stable: Evolution or DX

So yeah vote and discuss

Poll coming

Definitely DX. It was original, it was entertaining, and most importantly, it made a ton of money. People who had no chance of getting over on their own became huge in DX, and the people feuding with them always got more over because of it. Evolution is a cheap Horsemen imitation which hasn't done anything to get anyone over except the people in Evolution (and two of those four didn't need it to get over anyways), and its dominance of the Raw roster since its inception has really hurt the ratings.

There's no question about it: DX > Evolution by a longshot. Although I'll give Evolution this: they have cooler theme music.

There is no question. DX were the far superior group

Anybody Thrilla 12-09-2004 05:35 PM

DX as a whole was a superior group, but it was MUCH better when Shawn Michaels led it. When Triple H led it, it was extremely watered down, a shell of the former DX.

Evolution, however, has been catching heat since day one, and HHH has been the leader the entire time. I voted for Evolution.

tucsonspeed6 12-09-2004 05:46 PM

Evolution.

Speaking like a mark, Evolution with all four members at its strongest would have kicked the crap out of DX at its strongest. Even though they would have been outnumbered, they still would have won. The current HHH could probably beat a young HBK. Batista could easily handle Chyna and Young HHH, who was much smaller back then, Flair could probably beat X-pac, and Orton as of last summer was on such a hot streak he could have taken on both Billy Gunn and Road Dogg.

DX and do you know why, the entrance. The build-up in the originbal entrance just made the crowd more anxious to see them. Then when they came out, the crowd went wild. That entrance was fucking awesome.

CYCLOPTERSAURUS 12-09-2004 06:19 PM

Evolution, I absolutely hated everybody in D-X when HHH led it.

Degeneration-X

They had the Road Dogg Jesse James and anyone with the Road Dogg is automatically a winner.

Especially his dealer....

DX because it represented everything the Attitude Era stood for.

Heyman 12-09-2004 09:22 PM

I STILL think that DX should get back together. I don't care what anyone says. :shifty: :D

I'd love to see Triple H move over to Smackdown, and have DX reform over there (i.e. they bring back X-Pac and Road Dogg). Say what you will about DX being "passe" and "old", but I guarantee that they would put asses in the seats.

I'm tired of talking about this subject, and it STILL pisses me off that hardly ANYONE agrees with me on this. :nono: :foc:  :foc: :D

Savio 12-09-2004 10:52 PM

I agree but almost every one from DX is in TNA.

Savio 12-09-2004 10:56 PM

Tuconson what about Rick Rude and Tori?

The Naitch 12-10-2004 01:23 AM

DX

Evolution has cooler music though, plus Naitch was with them

nWo 4 Life 12-10-2004 08:53 AM

DX. Best stable EVER.

Heyman, I agree with you :D

Besides Road Dogg who else is in TNA? I don't think Billy Gunn was signed yet and X-Pac hasn't been there since last summer. Anyway my vote went to DX. They were the epitome of the Attitude era.
