I hate Ja Rule and Fat Joe so much

BUT that New York song is quite catchy :$

I don't even know why

Triple A 12-16-2004 03:21 AM

Yeah fuck, wanna kill them both.

Funky Fly 12-16-2004 04:21 AM

I know exactly what you mean.

dodododo dodo dodo

That beat is insane.

Jason Cage 12-16-2004 10:57 AM

I wonder why directors still cast him in movies. I was watching that new Ethan Hawke trailer where they're trapped inside the precinct. Then I saw Ja Rule, and that was the end.

FakeLaser 12-16-2004 04:34 PM

Nobody respectable likes them.

DaveWadding 12-16-2004 04:36 PM

Ja Rule fell off. :(

and Fat Joe never got on. He was so fat he broke the bandwagon.

Well how did you expect to fit both him and Pun?

DaveWadding 12-16-2004 05:37 PM

...heavy duty bandwagon?

Anybody Thrilla 12-16-2004 06:34 PM

Fat Joe never got on? I dunno about that. Go to a club right now and see how many people are leaning back.

The Naitch 12-16-2004 06:42 PM

^^ so true. First it was brushing off shoulders, now people lean back. What's next?

I haven't been to a club since before that song came out.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-16-2004 10:40 PM

Fat Joe rode Big Pun's coattails though so its not really the same thing

besides even Sisqo had a club hit

it's a trend. each dance gets lazier and lazier.

first the craze was shruggint eh shoulders repeatedly, then it turned to brushin your shoulders, now it's leanin back. The next big thing is the breathe.

*inhale and exhale

but Fat Joe and Ja are really irritatin.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-16-2004 10:57 PM

Q Tip already did Breathe and Stop

The Naitch 12-16-2004 11:07 PM

I'd mark out if Lil' Jon came out with something

asphyXy 12-16-2004 11:39 PM

I heard this song today at work seven times.

asphyXy 12-16-2004 11:41 PM

The thing that makes it catchy is the chord progression. All the new hardcore/metal bands are using the same progression in all of their songs. <</>/comment nobody cares about>

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-17-2004 12:41 AM

Yea I like that New York song too. I am not a Ja Rule fan either though.

I hated them even before I had heard of either of them

Optik 12-17-2004 10:59 PM

The majority of their stuff I deffiantly don't like, but theres those few songs/remixes that I like...

Anybody Thrilla 12-18-2004 02:29 PM

Funky Fly 12-18-2004 04:57 PM

Holy shit, even my metalhead little brother who had practically dedicated his life to shitting on Ja Rule loves this song.

What song? New York? Yeh, I think it's a pretty good song. All three of them spit some pretty good verses, but I think Jada takes it to another level when he rips it...

Loose Cannon 12-18-2004 09:05 PM

just listened to it. It's ok. Yes, the beat's really good.

Loose Cannon 12-18-2004 09:07 PM

did they take a jab at Mase in there?

Optik 12-18-2004 10:47 PM

Na, Joe says...

"And I was just about to find God
But now that Mase is back,
I think I'd much rather find a menage"

So, Joe's basically saying he was going to give up the gangster way of living to find God, but since Mase has made his return after a 5 year hiatus, he would much rather find a menage a trois. (3 some for those less informed people out there)
