"Mario Lemieux will undergo surgery to repair chronic tendonitis of his left hip flexor and is expected to miss the rest of the season, the Pittsburgh Penguins announced today. The surgery will take place next Tuesday."

"Lemieux underwent surgery on his right hip in October, 2001. He rebounded to lead the NHL in scoring for much of the 2002-03 season, finishing with 28 goals and 63 assists for 91 points in 67 games."

Well, at least he plans to play again, but will the results be similar to last season? Man, I wish he had held on to the Art Ross last season. :'(
