Eternal Sunshine was absolutely amazing.
Collateral was good entertainment.
Saw was really cool.

loopydate 12-27-2004 01:05 PM

1) Garden State
2) The Incredibles
3) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
4) Collateral
5) Kill Bill Volume 2

That's really the top three right now. I haven't been out to see Before Sunset, Sideways, Finding Neverland, The Motorcycle Diaries, or Ray yet, so I'm sure the list will change somewhat. I'm also only counting movies that came out this year, because I saw a lot of movies that came out last year for the first time this year (21 Grams and The Station Agent in particular).

Shaggy 12-27-2004 02:55 PM

Out of all the movies I saw this year these were the ones I liked the most....and sadly I know all the movies I saw because I keep the ticket stubs in a photo album. I guess I do it for the memories....

Butterfly Effect

Walking Tall
Hellboy
The Girl Next Door
The Chronicles of Riddick
Dodgeball
I Robot
King Arthur
Collateral

Only movies from this year that I've seen (off the top of my head).

I keep my stubs, too. I have them dating back to when I was about ten. Over the last four years alone, I've built up well over 200 of them. I have probably 20 from ages 10-18, then just went nuts (cinematically speaking) when I got to college.

HeartBreakMan2k 12-30-2004 12:50 AM

Ray, Garden State, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Kill Bill Vol. 2, Napoleon Dynamite, and the Notebook is probably the most under rated movies this year. I'd give it at least a top 4 or 5 nod.
