Benoit question
 

Just watching some of the Benoit DVD matches and noticed that in ECW, Japan or his early WCW days he doesn't use the Crossface. He didn't really seem to have any real finisher. Maybe a Dragon Suplex. Well I was just wondering when did he start to use the crossface?

After Dean Malenko invented it in WCW.

I remember him using the diving headbutt for the longest time in WcW. Beniot was one of my favorite wrestlers in those old days and I would imitate it all the time on the trampoline.

he also did the "Walls of 'Jericho'" back then also. The real one, not the boston crab of now.

Its not even a boston crab any more. Now its just the other guy in a push up posistion with his knees bent.

I'm not sure. In Japan he used an Avalanche power bomb a lot (top rope powerbomb.) Although he didn't have a set "finisher" then again, most people in Japan don't, or at least didn't use to. Honestly, I didn't watch WCW that much, but I don't remember him doing the crossface in wcw either, so I'm going to say he probably started doing it as a finisher in wwe.

He used it in WCW.
