It's roots are in detroit with such artists as Derrick May, but Techno has really faded as of late. Techno is pretty much all electroinc with percussive beats. Drum and Bass/Jungle: Uses Techno beats, sometimes mixes in hip hop samples, can be aggressive or laid back. Adam Freeland is an example. I'm not at all into Drum and Bass I hope that explains it. |
