Can someone creative help me?

I need a name for my wrestling website. Any good ideas?

(some detail about your site might help, unless it's a generic news site like Wrestleview or whatever)

It has a little bit of everything.... news, wrestling trivia, Raw Results, Smackdown spoilers, pictures, etc.

I just thought of "The Hardcore Hang Out," but the site has little to do with hardcore wrestling, so that seems a little deceiving.

So if I should copy and paste, like almost everyone else does, then what should I do? I'm open to suggestions and constructive criticism, but I'd appreciate your comments being stated more thoughtfully.

Link to the page you copied from on your page for one or rewrite it. If you're posting news, rewrite it and give credit. Same with results. You can copy and paste and still give credit, but you wouldn't be offering something different to people than what they already have, and you won't get many visitors.

On another note, learn HTML and CSS (and if you already know it, learn more advanced stuff), your last page was horrendous. It looked like something out of 1997, which is not good. Or steal a layout, it's not my site.

Also, if you're planning to make this a serious site, don't use a free server, they suck. Invest in a domain and web space.

And back on the original topic, don't use something like "The Cool Palace" or "Legdrops and Bodyslams", they're way too generic and/or dumb sounding.

Each time I took info from another person's site, I always gave credit. If you're saying that's not good enough, then I honestly don't know what to do. It's a wrestling website. Aren't I suppose to have news and stuff?

And how does one learn more advanced stuff? I'm sure the person who made my site did the best job he could. I'm looking around for layouts though.

I COMPLETELY AGREE. Is it expensive to buy a domain?

And again I COMPLETELY AGREE. That's why I asked for suggestions.... because I know I'm not exactly a creative person.

Thank you for your input, and if anyone here can help me further (say, with web page design), please let me know. Maybe we'll work out a deal! :)

If you want to learn quick, just find a page with a nice layout that you like. RIght click on it somewhere and click on "View Source" and it should give you a notepad version of the page's html. Then just copy the codes that you like.

Also, I should note that if you have a site with news that doesn't have a link at the bottom of each story that says something like: Bret Hart beats up Goldberg in shoot match!!!! CLICK HERE FOR MORE!@!! and when you get there, the site mentions nothing about either guy, I'll go to your site for ALL of my wrestling news from now on.

I don't know what you mean by "copy the codes."

Is there a lack of wrestling websites that I am not aware of? If you're going to make a wrestling website, I'd be damn sure to offer a bunch of unique content that people can't get elsewhere. I fail to see why anybody would bother to make yet ANOTHER wrestling website consisting of stolen material that can be found at any of the other billions of sites.

Also, about this quote:

"I'm sure the person who made my site did the best job he could."

You aren't even making your own site(s)? then why even bother? I might be misreading this, or maybe you are making your own site this time around, but it sounds rather pointless to me to have a site just for the sake of having a site. A site made by somebody else, consisting of names you selected out of a list of suggestions, and containing lots of stolen content that could be found from zillions of other sites. Why?

I don't mean to be offensive, but I've never understood why some people get sites when they don't need them. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I honestly like Red Hot Wrestling and RHS Wrestling.

If I can throw in my own, why not something like "WrestlingDirtSheets: News and Rumors". It's been one of the most known terms for wrestling news and rumors for years, and I can't find another site that uses the name.
