The Terminator or Robocop
 

Which movie do you think is the better film overall? I'm not talking about all of those other Robocop movies or even T2 and T3 but the first of each series. I think T1 is the better because I believe it had a better and more chilling story overall even though Robocop also had a great storyline. I also think that the Terminator was better because of good ol' Arnold. Who can forget "I'll be back"?

However Robocop is a kickass movie. As is Robocop 2. Robocop 3 does not exist.

T1 (let's face it like the Robocop sequals T3 was pretty crappy)

I actually thought that T3 (while nowhere near as good as the others) was a decent film.

T2 made me cry :'( I love that guy :'(

I actually liked all three Terminator movies...sadly there is talk about the next Terminator movie not having Arnold in it at all....that will definently be a disaster.

I'm gonna go with Robocop....for one, it's really getting no love here. Two...it's the only one out of the two I have watched recently (so I don't remember as much about Terminator). Three...AWESOME score (I now have the Robocop theme in my head), and four...Paul Veron (or however you spelled his name) did an awesome job of mixing satire with a violent, serious film.

All the other reasons aside, though, Robocop just because there has to be ONE person that gives that movie some love in this thread...might as well be me.

Awesome fucking gun, great special effects, fun action sequences, an interesting story, and the hilariously bad ass performance of Red Foreman throughout. "Bitches, leave!"

Terminator is only really good in the last act, when he's on their trail and they have that great scene in the factory. Other than that, it's pretty boring 80's bullshit, and the "Terminator" is just Arnold.

Terminator, for me, starts with T2. T1 is like a prequel that's kind of unneccesary.
