Hello everyone, it's everyone, it's the guy who was the cause of so many Rate The _____ Topics, which began back in August with my Rate The Wrestlers Topics..But enough bullshit aside.

As most of you have gather from my post her in TPWW, I'm a big comic book buff as well as someone who is known to blow his entire paycheck on video games, Anyways, On January,17th, My Favorite comic book character finally comes to the Next Generation Platforms of X-Box and PS2, As well as PC...The comic book, also had a movie that came out, last year that I enjoy (Throught some things could of been better) but still enjoy it none the less, It's none other then Frank Castle, or better known as....The Punisher.

Thomas Jane returns to play The Punisher!
Note, That this game isn't based on The Lion's Gate Flim from last year, which featured Thomas Jane as the Punisher, however Jane, a longtime Punisher fan himself, will return to the role to play the Punisher, however the character design is based on the Comics, so Jane's likeness won't be all over Castle in this game.

Intergations!
This is a mode added, when you grab a victim and take him hostage and use him as a human sheild, while doing so, you can Intergate him into giving you information, once you do so, you have a few options, you can continue holding him, you can release him, You can kill him quickly with a gameplay sequence (much like Dead To Rights) or you can go for Special Kills, which use stage props, such as a Tank of Pirahhas, A Blow Torch, A Wood Chipper, A Rhino's Cage, A Bellsander, among other, I personally saw the one with the Tank of Pirahhas, where you stick the guy head in the tank, and watch as the fish attack, and when all is said and done, you get a half eaten head with hunks of Flesh hanging off, the violence in this game, is said to supassed that set in Rockstar's Manhunt.

The only downfall to the game, is a tad bit of Censorship, As the game before getting cut down, was rated A+ (Adults Only) however the only thing changed, was in some of the more violence and sadistic kills, the screen goes to Greyscale, to back on the excessive gore, which isn't so bad, since alot of times in the Comics, that's what you get.

I have the game Pre-ordered and have yet to play the full version since it's doesn't come out for another week, however I'll give this game for now, A 8.5

Sounds and looks great

We got a nice demo of the game, plays great on both the PS2 and Box as well as PC. I thought they'd butcher the game to be honest, but I really genuinely enjoyed it. Lots of good features.

at first glance that last picture looked like Chapel....But ive been looking forward to this since the Movie came out...luckly its my birthday And I can make a few request.

I'm tempted to get it.

Yeah I download the demo on pc and oh my fucking god this game excedes all my dreams of a punisher game. Gonna get it the day it comes out.

Right, level was pretty sort, but was good. I love the intergations, pure genius.

Ive got the demo for xbox and I havnt been able to play it yet thanks to my little brother messing my xbox up. The game looked great and I cant wait to get it for the ps2. This is the first time I heard about Thomas Jane actually doing Punisher for this game so I cant wait to see what he sounds like in the game. I like Jane as Punisher so this should be pretty cool.

I saw a screen shot where the Punisher has a guys head under a drill press trying to get information out of him..Game looks like Gold

I played the demo today that I had....its pretty good...the game goes great but I had a little problem aiming. No matter what you do you always need someone as a shield or you will die quick. I love quick killing or killing them trying to learn something.

Well, My game has shipped...which means....if I receive the game before 11 in the morning...all of you get rep like you did with Resident Evil 4

Hey One Question...What Size does the Punisher Shirt come in, I preordered it, but it never asked about a size and such, of course, i guess it won't matter if I can't wear it, since I have the 30 other things of the Punisher I bought from Hot Topic in the past year

If you pre-ordered through EB we have a couple different sizes. The vast majority (and the ones I think that are being shipped to internet orders) are XL.

Are they trying to say...All people on the Internet are Fatasses or something...and yes it's just my size

lol, it's hot shirt. Just has his logo on the front. I was at work and I asked if we had any Punisher stuff (since it's releasing tomorrow). The manager (she looked sexy today btw, not that you care) is like "we have the demo", I respond "I already took that", "You weren't supposed to", "sorry", "it's ok, we have some shirts and hats, and name tag string things" "I'm taking some of that", "I know". That was the conversation. I'm in italics.

I think thats what the game is going to be like as well. Thats what most comic book games turn out to be, namely Spiderman.

Picked up my game tonight at work, about to play it right now....

Seems like it'll be a fun game, the interogations were kinda cool. I'll play it more when I"m done with RE4.

not to bad....seems rather easy..i like the beserk mode where he chucks knives.

IT'S A DISSAPOINTMENT.

The only reedeming thing in the game is the berserk mode and the optional style murders.

Other than that.it blows.

I totally agree. I got bored somewhere during the 2nd level.

coming off of Resident evil 4 into Punisher makes me want to play another Resident evil...Damn I cant wait until March when Resident Evil Outbreak file #2 comes out...I hope the controls are similiar to the Gamecube Resident evil 4.


I hate that you can fire a gun at someone in the distance in plain site and not hit them...even if the crosshairs are right in the center of them.

Yea, I think that's the reason this (or any game at the moment) feels like such a let down right now. Compared to resident evil 4, a lot of games are pretty crappy.

Does anyone know if there is any actually Marvel Villians in the game? or is it all thugs?
