Goodbye Kevin Nash

Kevin Nash Talks About His Future
January 8, 2004
On December 31, 2003 my contract with WWE officially ended. I met with Vince and we talked about the possibility of my staying with the company in a creative role. This would have meant working 5 days a week and spending too much time away from my home and family so I decided not to stay with the company.

There are many options in wrestling with other companies and I am also looking into more film and television appearances. Stay tuned and we'll keep you updated here on any future plans.

Check out the upcoming Premiere Magazine for some news about "The Punisher" movie that I appear in, which will be out in April.

Right now, my immediate plans are to go on a cruise with my family and then go to Europe for a month.

As long as it's not something I wanna watch.

MVP 01-08-2004 08:33 PM

At least he got out of the ring before he killed himself.

Sickboy 01-08-2004 08:46 PM

It's best to retire while you're still near the top, meaning a close friend of Triple H.

DMI 01-08-2004 09:38 PM

Kevin Nash's career brought to you by Final Fantasy X2

Good-bye!

He will probably show up in TNA with Scott Hall.

Or someone else.

And just think, one of the last things he ever did in the ring was get scalped by Jericho.

Head 01-08-2004 11:08 PM

LOL, forgot about that.

What an ironic way for him to go.

Yeah, but at least there, every time I don't watch him, I save 10 bucks.

Fox 01-09-2004 12:10 AM

Kinda sad when you think about it... at one time he was the WWF and WCW Champion, and one of the most popular guys in wrestling. He helped bring WCW to the top with the nWo angle. And after his shitty run with Triple H (which killed any heat he had left from the year before), he's hanging up the boots.

....oh well.

Well, it WAS pretty sad that he was too stupid to get the pattern after his first 50 quad injuries.

Though he did managed to bow out before the big 500...

God damn it! You took my joke!
Well, I wish nothing but the best for Kevin Nash.
And when I say nothing but the best, I mean I hope his knees give out when he goes to TNA.

M-A-G 01-09-2004 08:30 AM

Good luck to him in whatever he does.

Sephiroth 01-09-2004 08:35 AM

With his injury-prone self, he'll need it.

loopydate 01-09-2004 05:05 PM

I'll admit to being a Diesel mark back in the day ('cause he's from Detroit? Mebbe...), but his best days are so far behind him that retirement is the only logical option. Of course, his logic has been lacking lately, so I think we can expect one more comeback attempt...

Kane Knight 01-09-2004 05:24 PM

One?

loopydate 01-09-2004 05:31 PM

Good point.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Tornado again.

I hate reading the bash a bad wrestler threads. Slap me I sound like Dark Kane but I am sad he is gone and I like him. I started watching late so he was one of my first wrestlers I like. He was big nobody could stop him and then he went to WCW. I liked him soild wrestler then he got hurt then hurt again. Then the internet started bashing him Dam it slap me again I sound like Dark Kane But I am sorry he is gone.

Mr. JL 01-09-2004 09:51 PM

His last match was in the Elimination Chamber at Survivor Series for the World Heavyweight Championship. And he got eliminated because of a ill-fated Sweet Chin Music and then he got pinned. I was hoping Kevin Nash would come back for just one more goodbye match but I hope him and Scott Hall go kick ass in TNA.

GARAGExBANDxGEEK 01-09-2004 10:01 PM

Who ****s up a ****ing super kich.

Mr. JL 01-09-2004 10:11 PM

I didn't mean he botched the super kick spot. I meant Shawn Michaels accidently hit the Sweet Chin Music and thats how he was Eliminated in his last WWE match.

Fox 01-09-2004 10:16 PM

Accidentally? Didn't Nash put Jericho in the Walls, then HBK kicked him in the face for the pin, or something?

"Macho Man" Randy Savage was the wrestler to get me into watching, but I'll admit he's a bloody moron. In the end Kevin Nash had a bad moveset and an even worse haircut.
