Your Favorite "Scrapped" Storyline

There have been so many matches and storylines that were just completely dropped, and never heard of again. Like John Heidenreich's "Little Johnny" for example. But, the question is, which of these storylines would you actually have liked them to continue with and just find out what would happen?

Mine would be the RVD/Jericho fued for the Undisputed Title in January 2002. The fans really seemed to enjoy it, but all of a sudden, I think that whole 'paid your dues' issue came up, and RVD was just shoved into the Rumble match, and never got the match against Jericho for the title, which would have been awesome.

ok, not 100% sure of whether ur being sarcastic or not, cos u said remember so much...

ANYWAYZ, basically, booker T won a match, went to his locker room, and a piece of paper was lying there, and it said i still remember. And that was it.
A few weeks later, Goldust got released, so i assume it had something to do with him

I still remember.... I really wanna know what the hell that would have been.

WWE NWO was funny as hell because all it took was an injured Kevin Nash to collapse the NWO. The next week, you hear barely anything about the group.

AmDrag 02-06-2005 01:45 AM

Raven's deal on Heat. They went far enough to have Morley go up to him and say that if he gave it up he'd get a shot back on RAW. He got his shot back on RAW, stalked Test and Stacy, did a job to Jeff Hardy then was in TNA a week or two later.

M. Banana 02-06-2005 01:53 AM

WTF is with this XFL stuff? I mean.. It's been mentioned a lot here and it was mentioned at WM19 ][I saw it on the worldlife DVD][ could someone please explain this..

1) What's the deal with WWE and XFL
2) What IS XFL
3) Are you my mommy?

AmDrag 02-06-2005 01:58 AM

The XFL was a failed football league Vince McMahon started.

You must not be an American, or else you'd have to be pretty damn sheltered not to know about that joke.

M. Banana 02-06-2005 02:32 AM

Actually, I'm Mexican. Lookit the name. XD. Yeah, I recently moved here like a year ago. So I was limited to the videos my "primo" ][:D][ brought on his visits. Mostly it was matches with Luchadores, I guess out of pride or something. The first SmackDown I saw was when Kurt announced that he had traded Trips for the Dudleyz and Booker... so I really don't know that much. :\ I may seem like a newb or whatever.. but.. oh well..

Back On topic now..

I would have liked the WWE to continue on with the Paul London/Kidman storyline... and Heidenreich/ Cole.. without the prison rape scenes however.

Innovator 02-06-2005 02:44 AM

Honestly you're better off with the lucha libre, thats actually wrestling.

RP 02-06-2005 03:01 AM

Theres a answer to this question and it is... HHH / Angle / Steph love angle.

This is like the what-if machine from Futurama.

What if Beaver Cleaver didn't become Chaz? I know my life wouldn't be what it is today.

TALES OF INTEREST!

ericbisch 02-06-2005 05:36 AM

what about who attacked Edge at No Way Out 2003

Mr. Nerfect 02-06-2005 07:09 AM

The first thing that popped into my mind when I saw this thread was the Goldust "I Still Remember" storyline.

I was actually going to post a thread a few days ago about how great it would be to see an image on the titantron pop-up during a Booker T match match saying "I Still, Still Remember".

LOL, I was actually entertaining the idea of Goldust winning the SmackDown! tournament in place of the Bye given to The Undertaker/Rene Dupree's slot, and have him go on to beat JBL for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania in Los Angeles, which is pretty much Goldust's billed hometown.

Mike the Metal Ed 02-06-2005 08:33 AM

Sean O'Haire, definately.

Shaggy 02-06-2005 09:42 AM

I always wondered about the Steph, Trips, Angle love angle that they were doing. They had one thing where Steph went to Angles hotel room and it was never spoken of again....at least I think it was like that..

I still remember seems to be remembered alot among the people....

I always was wondering about who pulled up the briefcase during the Austin/McMahons ladder match. They never said who did it and that pissed me off.

I thought they did finish it

46 & 2 02-06-2005 11:56 AM

Does anyone else think the suitcase-raising was a blown spot by Vince and/or Shane? Like they were supposed to knock Austin off the ladder before he got up there but got confused and never made it to the ring (I think they were down outside the ring), so someone had to improvise rather than making Austin stall at the top of the ladder like he was Rico waiting for Jeff Hardy?

Yeah, me neither.

I wanted that Goldust vs RVD feud to continue after No Way Out 2002 and I think most people thought that it would. That could have been interesting.

Gouda 02-06-2005 02:52 PM

What did Undertaker know about the Big Show that was forcing Big Show to tag with him?
