WTF? Where did it go?
Last weekend somebody was sending me a huge file (a whole season of a tv show), it was going into "Applications" and everything just fine. After three hours or so it was done, so I clicked on the next one to be sent, and while waiting for the second one to download I realized that I have no idea where the first one went...I searched my whole computer for the names, and it doesn't have it anywhere. There is like 10 gigs of video somewhere on my computer now, but I have no idea where it is or how to get it off. WTF is this?

Did you save it to a specific spot? If not then it's probably in your temp internet files.
How do I get to them on a Mac?
I thought they were in a specific spot, I transferred them through some server thing.

Just look at the properties of every folder on your hard drive, and look in the ones that are over 10gb, it can't be that hard to find if it's that big.
Macs have a search feature, right?
Yeah of course, but nothing of the sort is coming up.
I was being facetious.
Specially since Ant's method should have worked. |
search for *.mpeg or *.mpg or whateverthe file type is.
