I forgive you Jason
:'(
Now hit some homers :) I don't know, I'm feeling a big year for him. Tino is behind him though  |

Jose trying to cash in with that book of his at the right time...
I'd rather have Tino than Giambi right now. Tino was always good on the Yanks, then Giambi came along and started the "I'm on the Yankees so it's ok if I start to suck" trend.
A-Rod's numbers declined big time last year
The expectations for Tino are just setting him up to upset everybody
I'm gonna laugh when he does shitty and NY just runs him out of the city
Its whats going to happen. He isn't going to come in and outplay Giambi of 2003. At best he might do what Olerud did last year offensively. He worked back in the day because he was a piece to a puzzle, now the way the Yankees are built he will just be one of the outs that goes inbetween an A-Rod, Sheffield, or Matsui homer.
2005 Tino is not the 1998 Tino. It's like if Joe Carter came out of retirement and re-joined the Jays
It's like if David Cone came out of retirement to join the 2004 Mets :|
Just heard a great line from a sports reporter.
People are giving Canseco crap, that he just did this for the money. The reporter said, well, what do you think the players did the Roids for in the first place? |
ok, first of all, nobody's running Tino out of NY.
AND YES, we're not stupid,we know it's not 1998 Tino. Nobody is expecting much from him, so I don't no where that came from. People (like myself) are just glad to see him return home. |
