News on the "Ghost Rider" movie

Eva Mendes Rides With "Ghost Rider"
Posted by RT-News on Monday, Feb. 07, 2005, 03:24 PM

RT-News writes: "Eva Mendes will join Nicolas Cage in "Ghost Rider," according to the Hollywood Reporter. She will play the girlfriend of Cage's character, a former stuntman whose body is host to a vengeful bike-riding demon. The movie is based on a comic book by Marvel Comics. Mark Steven Johnson is set to direct. Mendes can be seen playing opposite Will Smith in the romantic comedy, "Hitch," opening this Friday."

To take a phrase from Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie:That's Hot!!!! Mendes is fine

Cage still makes a piss-poor Ghost Rider. Still want to see this movie though.

Funky Fly 02-15-2005 01:10 AM

GHOSTWRITER NOT GHOST RIDER

Kane Knight 02-15-2005 01:29 AM

This movie looks disappointing. I'm anticipating Ghostwriter much more. :p

Probably never. PBS can't afford that shit. They would be having their pledge drives 43578906598076 times a year to pay for it.

I'd pay to see a Ghostwriter vs Wishbone movie

I figure it could be educational AND entertaining, plus it would be brought to you by viewers like me

Sickboy 02-16-2005 12:10 PM

Yeah, I can't really see Cage as Blaze... but perhaps he will bulk up a bit, get a jaw, grow some hair and youth himself by 10 years?

Btw, I liked Daredevil... :D

Who said PBS would do it. I don't even think they're the sole broadcaster, much less the producers.

Hell's Angel in Talks for "Ghost Rider"
Posted by RT-News on Friday, Feb. 18, 2005, 02:14 PM

RT-News writes: "Peter Fonda is in talks to join Nicolas Cage in "Ghost Rider," according to the Hollywood Reporter. He will play the role of Mephistopheles, the ruler of the underworld and with whom Cage's character, Johnny Blaze, will bargain his soul.

The movie is based on a Marvel comic book series about a motorcycle stuntman who makes a pact with the devil to be his vengeful agent in order to save the woman he loves. Donal Logue has also joined the cast, playing Blaze's chief mechanic. Mark Steven Johnson ("Elektra") is directing."
