So, what did you think of this movie?

I checked it out at the library (can't argue with no cost and keeping it for a week) and watched it last night. I was impressed. Eminem was better than I thought (but then again, its not hard to act out your own life) The acting overall wasn't really special (with the exception of Mekhi Phifer), but the story was captivating, in it's own way.

Yeah, i think eminem did pretty well, but its like you say, it is his on live.

yeah the battles were good even though you knew they spent hours writing them

Yeah, the standard in the shelter is better then the ones in the DVD extra. But Eminems freestyles in the extras are really good, and they are legit.

What amused me was the woman, she was aweful.

yeah, I liked it the story wassn't all there but I thought Eminem did a good job at acting, way better then I thought he would.

Actually it was loosly base on his life. Most of it was just bout a white rapper and not Eminem

Eminem hung out with white boys, he didn't roll around with black boys like he does in 8Mile.

The movie was not good but just so so.

Without the AWESOME AND I MEAN AWESOME rap battles this movie would of sucked so bad

I also think that Eminem did a pretty decent job in his acting debut unlike Britanny Murphy who in my opinion is the worst actress on the planet.

Well I'm not a big Eminem fan either but I watched the movie anyways because Curtis Hanson directed it. When I actually saw the movie, it turned out very good and I actually loved it. Eminem did a very good job. You don't have to be an Eminem fan to enjoy a movie like this.

I've seen this movie many times and I'll never get tired of it. Very good acting by the cast. Wonderful film. :)

The movie was alright. Even though the battles were hardcore scripted, they still totally made the movie.

I enjoyed the movie. it was pretty good. em acted better thanI thought he would.
