I guess the deal is supposed to be Santana Moss for Lauverneus(sp) Coles. Personally i think the Jets would be stupid to do this. Santana Moss is just explosivo IMO. Hell he single handedly kept the jets in that playoff game against Pitt.

I'm a fan of both, but I don't think bringing Coles back into NY would help them, I would rather have Moss.

The article seems to give evidence that the teams are pretty serious about actually completing a trade too. Couple things, mostly salary cap issues with the 'Skins are the only things preventing the trade from going through.

I think people under-rate coles, I mean look who his last two QB's were alone Brunell and Ramsey aren't exactally top tier QB's with Pennington I would bet coles will but up really good numbers.

Actually, thinking about it now, could be pretty hot. Lavernius Coles is still sick, just the Redskins didn't really utilize him. HE HAS BLAZING SPEED, PROBABLY FASTER THAN MOSS ANYWAY, and he is probably a better route runner than Moss.

He is 27. Only a year older than Moss.

Coles is a beast. I'd say he's better than Moss. The only thing the Jets really lose is a punt returner and they have Carter for that anyway.
