They should get Gene to do the interviews, old-school style (like Wrestlemania VI) for Wrestlemania 21. It would give the PPV a more classy, upgraded feel.....like this is a very special event.

I mean, there's nobody better. Who are you going to prefer? One of those random WWE bimbos from RAW/Smackdown? Would that make it feel like a Wrestlemania? No. It'd make the event feel....well....low.....like that stupid pillow fight from a couple years ago at WM. And nobody's gonna prefer that new guy with glasses over at RAW, or Funaki on Smackdown. So bring on Gene! I'd go nuts if he had a classic-style interview with HOGAN right before facing Hassan! ( :shifty: )

It's not a big deal and I won't feel too bad if it doesn't happen....but Gene as a backstage analyst at WM21 would be tight. :y:

During the match, Snitsky is dominating Mean Gene when suddenly Bobby "The Brain" Heenan comes up and wacks Snitsky out cold with a steel chair (obviously in Heenan's typical way, without the ref looking ;) ) Mean Gene covers and gets the pinfall and starts celebratign like crazy (evil flashback to him dancing with the Gobbeldy Gooker :shifty: )

Mean Gene: Well I think that just prove who is the gene of the WWE. Thats me. You know why. Its because wrestling is in my genes :shifty: .

That was during the build-up to Shawn Michaels vs Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 21 back in 05. Kurt's whole thing for the build-up was that HBK overshadowed his gold medal win in 96 (WM12 was in 96) and that he always wanted to show the world he was better than Shawn Michaels. He was going to do everything Shawn did in his career, in a month, and do it better. Classic shit, and the match is awesome.

I also love that one of the related videos was Kurt imitating Cena with a mini-Kurt :lol:
