The Subways
 

I've gotta mention them at some point.

I've seen this band twice in the last year, and they were absolute quality both times. They're a young band from London who won the chance to play at Glastonbury last year, then played Reading, have toured with a load of bands, did there own tour of the UK, and are scheduled to play Reading, Glastonbury and Isle Of Wight this year, fairly high up the bill.

If you like them, spread the word, because they have worked really hard to get where they are, and are awesome.

A girl i know (actually speaking to her at the mo) went to see them last night. Said they were good, but her taste in music blows.

They're a bit crap, but I wouldn't mind trying to finger the female vocalist in an alleyway with the view to an impromptu knee-trembler.

Sound a bit like the Von Bondies.
