mr. wrestlemania
Thinkin about what hbk said the other night...
as far as I can tell... Hbk has been in 11 wrestlemanias (5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,14,19,20) (i think) Hogan has been in 11 (1-9, 18,19) and Bret Hart has been in 12 (2-13) HBK has the worst W-L record of the 3, but has some of the most memorable matches and best performances(ladder, iron man, vs austin) Hogan probably has the best W-L record (9-2-1 i think he is-he only lost to warrior and rock....him and andre went to a draw at WM4 and at WM9 he had 2 wins) Which of these 3 deserves the title of Mr. Wrestlemania? I say Hogan |
What about the Undertaker?

Oops, my apologies, I did forget about the undertaker...but...cmon...
look at this opponents.. Jimmy Snuka (long after snuka had any real credibility as a star) Giant Gonzales (no words needed here) King Kong Bundy Psycho Sid Justice (World title match, but cmon, eh) Big Bossman I know hes beaten Flair, HHH, Jake the Snake, Diesel, Kane a couple hundred times, but they just arent the great wrestlemania moments that come to mind) Im an undertaker fan and all, but i cant call him Mr Wrestlemania before the other 3 |
plus...hogan went into or came out of 7 different wrestlemanias as world champion and in the main event.

Yeah, I'd give it to Hogan with the title for mr. wrestlemania. He's had more memorable WM matches. Taker has had maybe like half of his matches considered "memorable"

Look at who was in the main events. 1-9: Hogan. 10 and 12: Bret. 11: lets forget about it... 13: taker 14-17 Austin and Rock 18-19-20 and 21: HHH

Yeah Undertaker main eveneted once, and apperantly it was the worst main event in the history of Wrestlemania.
So yeah Hoagn probably is Mr. Wrestlemania, but Undertaker deserves to be mentioned. |
nah I'd say the worst Wrestlemania Main-Event was Lawrence Taylor/Bam Bam Bigelow

Hogan is easily Mr. Wrestlemania.
Taker may be undefeated, but a lot of his matches weren't that great, especially the great HIAC match against Bossman at XV. The best was vs. HHH at XVII, probably my 3rd favorite Taker match. |
