Feeling a little nostalgic after watching some old tapes yesterday so was just curious to know what peoples earliest memory of wrestling was

Mid 2002, I turned the TV on, it was on a sports channel, RAW was on, didnt even know what it was. Benoit was crossfacing Bubba Ray Dudley to death, not stopping even after the match ended. I started watching a bit later.

Mine was matching Wrestlemania 9 with my dad as a wee nipper

my biggest memory of that was Bret losing the title.

Surely your biggest memory of WM 9 should be Hogan triumphantly beating yokozuna to finish the event

After mania 9 the next ppv i watched live was Fully loaded '99, i still love that ppv just because it was the end of an era in terms of vince Vs austin (for a while) and the beginning of one for me.

my earliest memory was watching Survivor Series 91 on sky movies with my dad when taker pinned hogan for the title :'(

though i am sure alter of helmsley will love that

i recently got given the tape Summerslam 1999 with the Triple Threat Match for the WWF Championship: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Triple H vs. Mankind with Jesse "the Body" Ventura as Special Referee

brought back lots of memories HHH always looked better with a sledge hammer than the title haha

Flipping through the channels and seeing Sgt. Slaughter cutting a promo (I was all about the GI Joe's then) and I havent stopped watching since.

Probably something to do with Hogan

Ummmm my first memory (which made me a 123 kid/X-Pac fan) was when 123 Kid and Razor Ramon lost a tag match for the titles. Then in the locker room you seen them argueing. That is why I started watching wrestling because that match was amazing to me atm. And yes I am still a X-Pac fan.

I remember the Cat vs Disco Inferno in WCW, and Cat just kicked him in the head and pinned him.

I already mentioned what my first memory was (yes it was hogan) and dont be silly you know what my real names is you scream it often enough

Hmmmmmmmmmm.....Mankind putting the Claw into Undertaker's mouth and touching his soul. That is my earliest memory.

If the 91 series was to make me a taker fan then i would probably be a flair fan as well been as he helped him win.

The doctor gave someone a bag when hogan was checkin on the knocked out ref then hogans oppnent KOed hogan with the bag. I was pissed.

What everyones worst wrestling moment?

Earliest I can remember was Survivor Series 91, but I must of seen before because I knew what was happening ;D

Jake The Snake's snake was sucking on Macho's arm ;).. interestingly enough it was on sky movies.! Weird.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to watch the end of the Undertaker vs Hogan match as I had to go bed :(.

This goes back way old school, to the NWA days, but my first memory is of the Four Horsemen beating up Dusty Rhodes and throwing him through a limosine window in like the mid to late 80's. That's the first one I can think of anyway.

Every monday when raw starts i bet you can guess why

Not as weird as the wwe being on channel 4 and then they realised that the show contained violence.

Did they even watch it before they bought it, what did they expect!?!

They allow shows like brass eye to be shown though, during prime time.

Worst wrestling moment? Gotta be the Owen Hart accident. It's been 6 years and I still can't believe that happened. :'(

I remember going to school the next day and hearing everyone talking about it, at the time it was a bit over my head, but when i got into wrestling more i actually watched the ppv and i just felt numb. I watched the tributes the next night on raw and thats when i was reduced to tears.

People say alot of bad things about wrestlers personally but most i what i saw on that raw was genuine and very moving.

That was a sad moment for all fans just makes you wonder how the people who set it up can be so neglegent considering the risks that were involved

My earliest memory was Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat losing the IC title to The Honky Tonk Man, who I proceeded to hate for years.
