Are they going to make any more Futurama episodes?

Man, that show brutally knows how to push buttons. It can be very dramatic when it needs to be and be funny when nessecary.

My favorite episodes are the one where Leela is in a coma and the 7 leaf clover.

They need ot make more.

I don't think there is anything planned for any new Futurama's. But yeah that show was great, I still watch it every night on Adult Swim. :y:

How does that get cancelled and the current watered down Simpsons keep going?

Because it's the Simpsons. They aren't going to cancel it. It has to go out on its own will.

Also Fox kinda wanted to fuck with Matt Groening cause he had far more control over Futurama then they had, and they could never get at him on Simpsons cause of it being, well, their best show pretty much.

The Simpsons still does well in ratings, it makes FOX money.

Futurama, unfortunately, did neither of those two things.

Yeah Futurama is my favourite all-time show. It's right up there with Simpsons (in its prime) and Family Guy in terms of teh funny, but it actually makes you give a shit about the characters too. I love it sooooo muchhhhh

God, amazing show. I have seriously seen every episode more times each than I can count. I am the hugest Futurama nerd ever. It's a tie with the Simpsons (seasons 1-9) as my favourite show ever, and you all know how much I love the Simpsons, so that's saying something. :love:

I wish that they would make new episodes. It lasted longer than family guy did but we really need new episodes of this also. With all the times that they have been together on Adult Swim its more like that both shows are a team. You have to have both because the comedy is great in both shows.

Even though there is no new episodes planned yet im expecting that once the DVD's start to see great again that they might decided to pull it out of the dumpster. Are all the episodes out on DVD already? If not then I would guess we wait till they are all out and then something might be decided.

Surely the DVD sales have made them something.

They keep bringing out boxsets and 'best of' DVDs so they're not afraid to milk it for all it's worth.

I seriously get chills when the end holophonor music plays in The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings. So innocent, simple and sweet, and the crude thought animation of them getting together is almost too much. :( I know that sounds really pathetic but hey, it was just done really well. As you said, the show knows how to be brutal when it wants.

Yeah it was a good and funny show.
