Randy Orton: Diva Killer
 

According to Meltzer (March 28 newsletter), another WWE diva has left the company after being "harrassed" by Randy Orton.

After Amy Weber quit the company earlier this year following the Japan tour, and Lauren Jones moved from Raw to SmackDown to "get away" from Orton, Rochelle Loewen has also quit.

Loewen is probably best known for "being that irritating bimbo who did the twirl" at No Way Out and on the Taxi Driver spoof advert for WM21. Even though she was on the other show to Orton, it looks like his antics during his appearance at last week's SmackDown did the damage for Loewen.

ok yea....boo hoo hoo....the diva was harassed by Orton....but you have to think about it. If your a girl going into a sport where the Guy to girl ratio is like 15 to 1 you would expect to be harassed a little bit. So Im sure she wasnt surprised that it happened.

What im saying is that if you are a girl you go into the sport of wrestling knowing that your gonna be harassed. Its not something that should suprise her all of a sudden. It happens to all the divas im sure.

Seriously though, you can't treat women that way. Shitting in anyone's boots would be pretty mean, but it would be okay if it was something like stealing their clothes while they were in the shower, for example. The guys have a kind of locker room brotherhood type of thing, as in many other sports, but you shouldn't mess around with ladies like that.

Some of you guys are basically defending bullying in the workplace, which really isn't funny when it affects quite a lot of people. Saying that it should be expected because of the girl to guy ratio doesn't wash with me. I bet if he did it to Trish Stratus and she left, the WWE might start totake a bit notice and he wouldn't dare do it to Steph for obvious reasons.

But Trish is a talented, so doing something like that to her wouldn't be cool. :roll:

It's true, however. Randy Orton can get awya with harrassing the peons. If he did it to someone with any level of stroke (SMH) or someone popular and semi-important (Trish), he'd be neutered by now in a match with Bobcore.

I dissagree with the whole guy/girl ratio theory as well. That shouldn't make a difference. My arguement is that it's something that's been a part of the business for as long as it's been around. It will always be. Like I said in another thread, she blew Orton off earlier because she didn't know who he was. That was the whole reason behind the incident. How do you work for WWE for so long and not know who he is. He was Champion when she got hired for christ's sake. Also, I never said it was right or wrong. I just don't care.

OMG, you guys are retarded. That kind of behavior would get anybody of lesser stature in the WWE fired. It's appalling and the fact that you are defending it only makes you look stupid, IMO.

Part of the industry is respect for everyone back in the locker room. Harmless ribs that don't take it too far are one thing, but harassing someone until they quit is another. Orton has shown no class. Now I see why its easy for him to perform the way he does.
Come to think of it though his actions do not suprise me. I recall that when he first came to WWE, Confidential did a report on him that included a segment where he explained how he spent time in a military prison for his attitude while in the Marine Corps.
I wish someone like Taker would get ahold of him. He's probably getting away with this because he's "Hunter's Boy". Orton is real lucky that someone like Big John Studd or Wahoo McDaniel isn't sharing a locker room with him. They'd teach him true respect for the business.

I'm not defending what he did and I know it's wrong to do that stuff, but I do find it funny.

Exactly my point. We can either get all stemed and angry at the fact that it's wrong, and how orton is a spoiled no class brat, or we can laugh at the absurdity of the prank.
