Should They Be Upset....
 

The card looks to be finalized for Wrestlemania, and we have 8 matches plus two non wrestling segments (HOF + Piper-Austin).

This year's show is only going to be 4 hours, so it makes sense to limit the # of matches in the interest of giving them all sufficient time to play out.

However the limited spots has made me think that a lot of guys on RAW and SD espeically must be mad that they aren't going to get a cut of the biggest payday of the year.

On RAW they have 10 male wrestlers (HHH, Batsita, Kane, Edge, Benjamin, Christian, Jericho, Benoit, HBK and Orton) on the card plus Christy and Trish.

Ric Flair, Hussan and Lita all seem to have non wrestling spots locked up.

On SD they have only 7 wrestlers (JBL, Cena, Mysterio, Eddie, Show, Angle and Taker) from the active roster on the card.

Likely the Cabinet guys will be involved in the WWE Title match and I'm sure Chavo will play a role in the Eddie-Rey match.

But everyone else is left out in the cold. I wonder how this is playing in the WWE Lockerroom? I would assume there would be a lot of unhappy people, and especially since they have to jump out on the road after Mania for an overseas tour.

Its cool in a way that Mania this year is only involving the "best of the best", but I wonder if it wouldn't be the worst idea to throw out some pointless Battle Royal just to avoid a lockerroom revolt.

I can see a RAW tag title match possibly happening. Obviously a SD one can't happen...and possibly Orlando Jordan defending the US title (unless thats alrready been announced?)

Well Chavo's injury has prevented London from being on the card.

They should be upset.

But this shouldn't be the sole reason. The straw that broke the camel's back, perhaps.

Notice how three of the seven Smackdown Superstars are only on the card because they aren't facing someone from the Smackdown roster.

And where's Booker T? Wrestlemania without Booker T?!

Why isn't Booker T on the WrestleMania card?

I'm sure they are more pissed to be pushed off the card in favour of some fat sumo, who most of the world hasn't even heard of.

Will you adress the over racism within the WWE?

I mean, the fact that they're planning to hype Cena as the "first black champion" is kind of outrageous, and an insult to our intellect.

We all know Akeem was the first black champion, and got screwed out of his title by the man. WWF - always keepin' a brother down.

That's why Shelton's theme song is what it is. "AIN'T NO STOPPING ME NOW!!!!" Eventually, he will be stopped b/c whitey has him down.

If Cena does move to Raw, I could see Viscera returning as Mabel with Mo to feud with Cena.

I could see a Cena/MOM feud draw MAJOR ratings this side of the Eastside/Westside rap wars of the 90's.

I think how it'll work is, Cena will go to RAW and then declare himself the original beat dropper and hip hopper of WWE (since we're going back to the 1990's). Then Viscera will return as Mabel, to dispute this. A feud insues, until Mo returns to assist Mabel & then B2 returns to assist Cena. This leads to the biggest WM event of all time in 2006.

PN News and the Dancin Bear could debut and make it a three way.

If an Akeem return meant that we'd see "The Doctor of Style" Slick on RAW, then I'm all for it.

But to the topic: I'm attending WM as its in Los Angeles this year, (my seats are balls, I just want to be able to say I've been at a WM) and I'm hoping tha tthey add at least a tag title match and maybe Hassan/Hogan in some impromptu "match" after the HOF deal. Otherwise there's going to be some serious lag time between segments.

As for the roster, they should be a little pissed, because missing WM is a hit in the wallet. But unless the WWE invents some sort of reason to have a battle royal -say, the winner gets to switch shows as a precursor to the roster draft or something- then there's no reason for them to be there.
