What other groups are like Linkin Park?
 

Linkin Park is my favorite rock/alternative group out there. Honorable mention would probably be NickelBack and Green Day. But does anybody know any?

Linkin Park cannot even be compared to Green Day.

...so, therefore, it's impossible for Green Day to be among the favorite bands of someone who enjoys Linkin Park.

Please, please don't associate the greatness that is Green Day with Linkin Park.

I don't think anyone's associating them. The guy just said that his favorite band is Linkin Park, and that Green Day is another of his favorite rock bands.

While their sounds are completely different (and I agree, GD is substantially better), it doesn't mean that he can't like both.

Of course. It's against the law. In fact, if you mention Linkin Park and Green Day, it totally discredits Green Day.

I've stopped listening to Lacuna Coil because they keep getting mentioned in the same sentence as Evanescence. I mena, I can't enjoy music if it's mentioned with another band I have issues with!

Anyway, the only thing I was laughing at is that Green Day and LP are considered "alternative rock."

Fanboy crushes are so cuuuuuuute though.

Honestly, though, there's no comparrisons between the two unless you are exceedingly shallow. One's a strong, quality band, and the other's a flash in the pan pop act with nasally vocals who have already split up.

Naw. Evanescence was an okay pop act, but it's a good thing they died off before they got even more annoying. I could only put up with them for so long. Lacuna Coil, while they should not be compared to Evanescence, are a far superior band with more talent and more interest.
