As of right now I'm not ordering it, but the same thing happened last year and around 4:00, I was just like "fuck it, I'm ordering this shit." So we will see.

Im hoping ill have finished work by Midnight.

I have it ordered and everything.

I got scheduled to work wrestlemania, but I evaded it using clever office tactics.

My friend was watching the Wrestlemania trailers...

First ten minutes is usually performance shit anyway and video packages and whatnot.

The video packages are usually gold though. :-\

Well unless they just give clips from the trailers.

Isn't there meant to be one more wrestlemania trailer with austin performing gladiator or something? They might open the show with that.

Supposedly, in 2001 they just kinda turned up if I remember correctly, so it could be the same again.

Anyway, pretty pumped for the Guerrero/Mysterio and Angle/HBK matches, also looking forward to seeing what they do about the titles, because I can't see both the big titles changing hands tonight.

Because it is on Sky Box Office over here this year, I decided to select the more reasonable start time of 10am on Monday morning, instead of the 1am-4am timeslot. So expect to hear my views sometime tomorrow.

Angle should come out to his HBK theme.

sadly I havent missed a pvv in 4 years..so of course I have it ordered...Looking forward to the ladder match and deffinatly Angle vs. HBK. Got a 24 of Budweiser on Ice and the big screen front and center....

So as usual, I won't be posting during the PPV itself. Computer is in the kitchen, TV in the living room. But here are some match-by-match thoughts:

Piper's Pit w/ Steve Austin

Gonna be awesome. I was into this before but Piper last night just put me over the top with the anticipation. We had that topic a while back about The Rock being the most entertaining wrestler of all time or whatever but last night when Flair mentioned it, I started thinking... Piper may have actually been the most entertaining man in the history of wrestling. Also the most likable/most hateable. GOD I :HEART: PIPER. Plus Austin's pretty good too, I GUESS.

Trish vs. Christy

I'm even KINDA looking forward to this. That's how great WM is. I am looking forward to a women's match... WHERE ONE OF THE WOMEN DOESN'T EVEN HAVE ANY ACTUAL WRESTLING EXPERIENCE. I think Lita may turn on Christy which might be a pretty decent swerve. The atmosphere of WM always make every match seem a tad better so with any luck, assuming this match hits the 5 minute mark, this could reach the quality of a Molly-Lita match!!! :eek:

Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Like in usual multi-person ladder matches, this is probably gonna get off to a slow start. Probably a bit of a clusterfuck. About 5 minutes in though, the awesomeness will set in and people will start to get worn down and that whole mystique factor will set in and SADIOWHJDFUIWFNHEG8O...

Eddie Guererro vs. Rey Mysterio

I hope don't put this anywhere near the HBK-Angle match. We need the pure great wrestling matches spread out. Give a little bit of everything throughout the show. I can see Eddie winning since Rey has had his number the past couple months. Regardless, this match NEEDED to be on the card. It's gonna be a bit different than the Angle-Michaels match as far a style goes so it will be a breath of fresh air wherever it is on the card. No real rooting interest though, which isn't bad I guess. I can just sit back and enjoy.

Big Show vs. Akebono

I'm looking forward to the end of this one just because I wanna know how WWE will handle it. Show losing puts a bad mark on him as a WWE superstar, Akebono losing... well that's just insane. The man is known as one of the greatest Sumo Wrestlers of all time. Losing to a guy with no experience? Don't know how this will go.

Orton vs. 'Taker

I've been back and forth on this one. I'm starting to lean towards 'Taker now. Espeically after Orton has seemed to start dominating the feud. Always a bad sign when you're wrestling The Undertaker. Seems like the someone says "I've never seen the Undertaker taken down like that before" or something along those lines, the more likely he is to win the match. Should still be pretty interesting though. If WWE still feels confident about Orton being the future, they'll give him the win despite the backstage BS recently.

Triple H vs. Batista

I'm still holding on to the slimmest of hopes that this doesn't go on last as I have a feeling, the title match where the title DOESN'T change hands will not be the last match of the night. I'm not 100% on this really. I think Trips might retain. This will be another interesting one just to see where they go with it. Could be a decent match as well.

Angle vs. Michaels

YES!!! YESS!!! YEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is going to be incredibly in like 100000000000000000000000 different ways! It should be one of the greatest matches in WM history. It will probably go down as one of my favorite matches in the history of wrestling. Two of the greatest of all time. I have a huge rooting interest being the biggest HBK fan EVER. I LOVE Angle the man. But just for this match, I am going to harken back to the old days and root for HBK over Angle in a "good guy vs. bad guy" sort of way. SO nostalgic for me in that way. Add to that the fact that Angle getting a clean win is VERY possible here and you've got the perfect set-up for a wrestling match. I still remember how happy I was back at the 2002 King of the Ring when the heel Angle made the all-time great face Hogan tap out cleanly. Now my rooting interest is flipped around and it's GREAT. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS MATCH.

Cena vs. JBL

OMG YES!!!! This is why I want this match to go on last. Cena winning the world title to cap off WrestleMania... JESUS H CHRIST, I'm already worn out from Angle-Michaels at this point probably but every last bit of energy I have will be used rooting for Cena in this match. IT HAS TO HAPPEN. COME ON VINCE, PLEASE!!!!!!!! :-(

Yeah I haven't been this pump for a wrestle mania in like a year.

Hey, I was Pumped for last years Mania...and it bombed..seriously dissapointed in it, it felt like I was watching any other WWE PPV...so I pray this one is half way decent...least enough to get me Cheering. (Shrugs) Only good point was Taker's Return.....DONG!!

God. After talking about HBK-Angle, I can't believe I just expressed interest in the Women's Title match. SO RETARDED, OVER HERE.

you guys are hyping it up too much. I'm telling you, don't do that or you'll be let down.
