Favourite Moment at Mania
 

Yeah for those of you who actually know I left the wrestling forum... i'm back bitches. *waits for ppl to post fake spoilers*

Anyhow, to keep this wrestling related.. what was your #1 Favourite moment of wrestlemania?

Mine was Taker reversing Orton's Tombstone into one of his own, from that point you know he won the match.. I was worried about Taker's streak, I didn't want it to end.

Close second was Cena winning the title... there are so many other good ones though.. it was an awesome wrestlemania.

Hogan coming out was my favorite moment.

Close second was either Piper's Segment or HBK tapping out.

Shelton's Ladder Run was awesome

Definately HBK tapping out to Angle, even though I was marking out like fuck after Orton reversed the chokeslam into the RKO. My marking out came to an abrupt end though a few minutes later. :rant:

Seriously though, as far as I can remember, Taker is the only person I can think of who has got hit with the RKO and still won the match. Foley kicked out of one, but lost after the second one. Oh well, just an observation.

That and HBK tapping out.

Just the Length of Time HBK was in that Ankle Lock, was funny cause I was the only one watching in room who was cheering for Angle, I had about 10 people ticked at me by the end haha.

Hogan coming out will be one of those "Wrestlemania Recall" type moments.

Honorable Mention to Beniot doing the Headbutt off the top of the Ladder, ripping his stitches out. That was crazy. Sheltons Ladder Run was a really cool moment as well.


All in all alot of great moments this year.

Hogan coming out was amazing, I just downloaded it. Crowd thought Austin was coming out, all of the sudden the Hulkster shows up. Amazing

I loved how everyone in the Ladder match jumped off the turnbuckle. I joked that Kane would do it...

And then he did.

Yeah, and i find it kinda weird that Shelton jumped over the top rope without even touching them and landed perfectly on the other guys, which led to no crowd reaction, and then Kane does a top-rope clothesline and the crowd goes ''HOLY SHIT''. That was :|

What exactly was this ladder run?

There were two ladders. Like this (each line is one ladder):

Someone was on the one to the right almost at the case. Shelton ran up the one on the left and clhtlined him.

When HBK tapped out in the longest ankle lock.. That match made my Wrestlemania

ya he was in the Ankle Lock for about 3-4 minutes before finally tapping out. amazing how Angle refused to let go after rolling around on the mat so many times

was that the only time hbk tapped out?

i think angle was the first one to make kane and undertaker tap.. maybe even hogan? and now possibly hbk?

i do remember watching backlash though.

ya Benoit beat him at Backlash in Edmonton with the Sharpshooter. It was the Triple Threat rematch with HHH

but it is the first time that HBK has tapped out in Wrestlemania

Shelton Benjamin.

I know that's not a moment, but his performance in the ladder match was it for me. Running up the ladder, diving over the ropes, bump after bump after bump.

Angle/Michaels was the best match, but the performance of the night, imo, was Shelton.

ya Shelton definately raised many eye-brows last night. what a fucking athlete

if only these guys were as motivated all the time as they get at wrestlemania

Hogan coming out was number one.

Piper's response to the WHAT chants was fucking genius.

Kane's got a top rope move that goes from top of the turnbuckle to the mat. No one expected him to fly off the top rope onto the floor. Thus the "holy shit" chant.

I think it was more the fact that he landed on EVERYBODY. and then everybody went like... flying.

Also Kane doesn't do that everyday.

Benjamin did that exact same dive on the Raw before Mania...or some Raw.

I had a few moments I really liked

1) Hogan coming out...marked out to Real American :D
2) Piper's Pit
3) Michael's tapping
4) Shelton's ladder run

Michaels tapping. I was still screaming "TAP" watching the WM replay yesterday. :o
