How the fuck did Randy Orton get a title shot tonight on Raw? There are like a billion more deserving people that could have gotten it. First off, Edge, what with him money in the bag deal. HHH, with his return clause. Um...Flair maybe. Rhyno, everyone loves Rhyno. Kane, it would have been an impersive match. Well, maybe not a billion, more like 2 or 3 at best. But not Orton. How does losing a wrestlemainia match qualifiy you as #1 contender for the richest prize in the game?

Plus, everytime I see orton I get pissed of.

BTW, that wasn't a title match.

They needed a reason to get Orton out of action and this was one way to do it.

I believe it was. J.R. or King made mention of Orton wanting to end Batistia's "era" before it began a few times before and during the match.

I'm not a great fan of Orton but his RNN news is very entertaining... if he's going to be out, he might as well bring back RNN while he's recovering. Remember those "My shoulder is back to 80%" or whatever the percentage was as he was getting better.

Plus he should go into the IC division if he returns cause he isn't world champion material yet... or maybe not ever. But the IC division is where he should be.

Im glad that they put someone different against Batista for tonight. Triple H is for the next ppv.....and I was gonna be really pissed off if they put Edge against him tonight. Why put all the effort for someone to win that match if your gonna make them fight the champ the next night when all the fans know that the belt wont change hands.

I thought this was abit odd also when watching last night, i didnt really care about the match cos i knew they were just giving batista a credible victory, and i think it was for the title.I didn't know orton was gonna be out injured though, that shocked me. What a shit year 2004 was for orton. WWE are the masters at burying careers.

It was a weird RAW...they didn't show Batista or anything until he his match. It was like the world title didn't matter on that show and it was non-existant.

Also notice how they had HHH finish at the end with his music instead of batista with his, what was the point in that unless they were gonna fight? That wouldve been a better ending. I think it shouldve been the champ to come out and make a victory speech, not triple h making a loser speech that weve all heard before, but once again triple h shows EXACTLY why we hate him, and also shows his power backstage.

I think we should have a new competition every month: How many times will HHH do a promo at the beginning of a raw show in this month? I bet on average its 3 times a month.
