Personally I would have rather seen Illinois win it. They really did have a special team this year, moreso then UNC I think, and its a shame that we won't be able to look back at the list now and see that Illinois team and remember what they did. I guess I think that if Illinois had won it would have been something special, it would have stood out and the Illinois players would have stood out more then UNC for like the 10th time or whatevr.

What is in the back of my mind this whole time (to give you some context) is that once Sports Illustrated had a little square inch picture of the NCAA champions every year, and when you looked at it you were like "Oh I remember Duke in 2001, and Kentucky in 1997", I just think that it would have been more memorable to see Illinois then UNC.

I don't really give a damn, but my brother-in-law marked out big time.

That was a pretty hot game. I just wish Augustine would have gotten more than 9 minutes. :| MVP of the Big 10 Tourney and he gets 5 touch fouls called on him. Fouls that weren't called on other guys, both UNC and Illinois players.

Yeah, the game didn't really affect me at all. If I had liked either team it woulda been awesome but I was indifferent.

It has been 12 long years and finally they are where they rightfully belong.I think the game had a hot second half but the first was blah. I definatlly wanted Carolina to win it but wanted it to be close not a blow out.
