John Cena's Theme.....
 

I think a wrestler's theme music reflect's that particular wrestler. Their charecteristics and what not. I think Cena's new theme is absolutely HORRIBLE! It sounds like a theme that a luchadore should have. I was watching his match with JBL and thought to myself about how hard it is to get into his charecter when his music hits. His old music fit him perfectly. To me it would be like Stone Cold coming out to something completely different then the glass shatter's music. I don't no, maybe it's the mark in me, but when Hogan came out to real American, I automatically started to mark out. What are your thought's and opinion's about Cena's theme or other's for that matter.

Stone Cold DID at one time come to several themes that sounded only barely like his current and long-time theme. And yes, it was horrible. Some things you just shouldn't change.

Yeah, the theme he has now would be perfect for Carlito, Eddie or Chavo Guerrero, or Rey Mysterio. But NOT Cena.

The songs actually not bad when it gets int the lyrics, the start of it sounds retarded though.

Yeah, but by that point, you're not really talking about a good theme. Might be a good song overall (opinion), but it's a shit theme.

The old one was perfect, because nobody gives a shit once you get beyond WORD LIFE when it hits in an arena. Strong start with a solid continuation right up til the rassler shows up.

i bet most of you just can't accept change, his theme really isn't that bad, infact i like it.

I do admit i liked the old one better, but this one is almost as good, i can't really explain how.. but it does match him.. the music feels like "Cena's here and ready to explode" argh.. can't explain it.. it does suit him in a way but not as good as the old one

His theme was just that...his theme. It was like his signature. You knew it was him and got pumped (if you're a Cena fan) when you heard the music. The new one just plain sucks and you can't even get into it.

I like the song but I agree it shouldn't be Cena's entrance music.

I don't mind the song, but I agree that it shouldn't be his theme song. But with the tron and music, I think it was for WM only. When his name comes up in the tron video, its done in the WM/Hollywood letters. I also think the new theme needs more time to get used to if it is done for a while.

Usually people know who is coming out when they hear the first line/chord, etc. The former theme, you knew exactly who it was right away. But the new one starts out slow with a piano sound, then it kicks in after a few seconds, so you don't know right away who it is.

I believe they used it on the Smackdown right before WrestleMania too. I'm pretty sure it's his new theme.

I think if he gets a bad reaction on SD! they'll realize that a change needs to be made. They can't have their new WWE Champion flop just because of his music.

I think the only reason they should change the theme music is if, the wrestler changes from being face to heel or vice versa, or if the theme is so stale that, the particular wrestler needs a change in music. In Cena's case, i don't think either was the case.

They did it for the last 3 shows before WM at least.

I don't think its that bad. Might just take abit of getting used to until when we finally recognise it as his theme. Too boo someone for there music is just stupid...

It sounded pretty shitty at first, but really its not all that bad. Its "cool" and unique so it'll be fine once we get used to it.

Basic Thuganomics was way better

It's like when The Rock changed his theme to that Hollywood theme at NWO 03 and no-one knew it was him until he came through the TitanTron, but after a couple of weeks on RAW we grew used to it and by WMXIX we accepted it and kinda liked it.

Personally, I think this theme is more catchy than his old one, even though his old one suited him more. Definately gonna buy the single/album.

Rock's Hollywood theme was his best.

I prefer his old one, I dunno it just seemed HIS music, like Austin - Glass Shatters, HBK's sexyboy, The Rock's IF YA SMEEEEEEELLL...
Like KK said it has that strong start, which is really all that's needed, that's what gets the crowd screaming. If you look at the 3 theme's mentioned, you can see where I am coming from...
Maybe in time I'll get used to the new one, but right now I prefer 'Basic Thuganomics'.

This new one does have a weak start. If they want to associate it with Cena, it's gonna take a LOT of work.
