Anyone think Batista will lose the title at Backlash?

for some reason the feeling that he may lose it has been creeping inside of me

No he will lose it at SummerSlam most likly to Edge

Batista keeps the belt until Summerslam at least having him lose the belt to HHH at backlash would be a mockery.

I was happy Batista won, but for some reason he just doesnt click as a world champ, it doesnt feel right, i dont know. Average on the mic, getting better in the ring, i dont know i guess its cause he just won the title and im so used to seein trips with the belt.

I think Batista is gonna hold on to the title for a little while. They seem to be doing everything with Batista opposite of what they did with Orton. Randy only had a one month title reign, so I think Batista's reign will definitely be longer than Orton's.

why should he hold it for a while. He is average on the mic, mediocre in the ring, just a power bomb. For how much trips has the belt, hes better to have it then Batista. He hasnt proven anything. Wow, he can lift a guy up and body slam him. if people think that is good to have him as champ just wait, his act will get old and stale. So at Backlash, Batista, Edge, Chris Jericho, Triple H in a Hell in a Cell and see how Batista could handle that kind of match. See if he will bump and sell a match. Or just give it to someone who can run with it. like Jericho. We need a guy who can talk, wrestle, bump.

Anyways, Batista isn't going to last as champion for 2 reasons:

1) He doesn't have the abilities of ANY of the uppercard wrestlers on RAW. Everyone is better than him in every aspect of being a professional wrestler. Jericho, Benoit, Edge, Triple H, Randy Orton, hell, even Ric Flair would make a better World Champion right now. Batista doesn't have the goods to be the man.

2) He's going to get buried by other angles and HHH. It's already starting. It's the Benoit-theory. New world champ, but no focus on them. All Batista did last week was wrestle a shitty squash of a main event. Hunter got more air time than he did. And it will continue until HHH regains his belt.

I don't think Batista can last until Summerslam. He's going to get real old, real fast, and they will rush to put the belt on someone else - probably The Game.
