I need some new bands to listen to

You know what I like. Name a few bands and two or three songs I should check out first to gauge if I like them or not.

Londoner 04-13-2005 12:33 AM

I dunno what you like, but since your a wrestling fan i would guess heavy metal, right?

Londoner 04-13-2005 12:33 AM

Btw im obviously a wrestling fan to, but dont like heavy metal all that much, its just a stereotypical based guess really.

Triple A 04-13-2005 12:34 AM

Nah gimme some gay emo/punk/indie/whatever shit.

Londoner 04-13-2005 12:38 AM

Oh you like indie to eh? I dunno about new stuff, maybe try stuff like kasabian, the music(i think theyre indie...) etc, its late here so im struggling to think. Will post again when my minds working...

Do you like the Reunion Show?

Downloading anything by them....

Head Automatica is good I guess for that indie type shit...they have a pretty ok song called Beating Hearts Baby (how pony can the title get?)

FakeLaser 04-14-2005 01:21 AM

Don't get Hawthorne Heights.

Head Automatica is the goods.

mitchables 04-14-2005 03:17 AM

Yeah, seriously. Listen to FakeRazor. Avoid Hawthorne Heights at all costs.

As though it were a plague carrying cancer giver.

DaveWadding 04-14-2005 03:32 AM

I've only heard 2 Hawthorne Heights songs and they suck more dick than Paris Hilton on a bender.

Triple A 04-14-2005 05:00 AM

The Arcade Fire is beautiful.

The Decemberists are pretty good from what I've heard. Elliot Smith too. And The Blood Brothers. I am DLing two or three of their albums, each.

LCD Soundsystem is kinda meh. I don't really like Head Automatica and that kinda shit.

And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead is good news too. I actually DLed a bunch of songs by them back in the day but deleted them for some reason.

I am dling most of the other shit right now.

Triple A 04-14-2005 05:08 AM

Holy shit All Time Quarterback is amazing.

Triple A 04-14-2005 05:11 AM

WTF how many side projects does Gibbard have.

Triple A 04-14-2005 06:56 AM

The Good Life is amazing. Cursive rules. Those two instrumental bands rule. Gibbard's shit all rules. The Early November's side shit is pretty good from what I've heard.

I am still getting to everything else.

mitchables 04-14-2005 07:11 AM

The Good Life is fantastic yes. I told you about both the Good Life and Cursive AGES ago on AIM, and you gave me the old "I will d/l when I am in d/ling mood" shit.
