Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-09-2003 07:52 PM

The Icon of Elisim 12-09-2003 07:52 PM

I would if I could

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-09-2003 07:52 PM

Oh yea..he needs to go back to the mirror visor he had at Miami

Supreme Olajuwon 12-09-2003 07:53 PM

shannon really brought that to the game

Supreme Olajuwon 12-09-2003 07:53 PM

Why is Portis getting so much publicity over last sunday? He had 5 touchdowns and Garcia had 6 touchdowns

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-09-2003 07:57 PM

Garica againest Arizona

Portis againest KC

CNM 12-09-2003 07:57 PM

Because Portis' team beat the supposed "best team in football." Garcia's beat the Arizona Cardinals.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-09-2003 07:59 PM

Garcia has also been playing like shit lately, while Portis has been playing really good.

Also I think 5 rushing TDS is more impressive then 4 passing, and 2 running.

The Outlaw 12-10-2003 12:34 AM

He is the man no doubt.

road doggy dogg 12-10-2003 01:07 AM

Yeah, I mean Garcia had a ****ing awesome game too, but getting 5 rushing TDs is harder than 4 passing and 2 goal line rushing plays by a QB. Props to Garcia though.

Portis is having an amazing year. He's easily one of the top 5 backs in the league.

#1-norm-fan 12-10-2003 01:59 AM

Yeah, not only is Garcia's 6 TDs less impressive AND Portis did it against a team that doesn't play at a high school level but also, Portis' performance was actually in an important game whereas the 49ers have virtually no chance at making the playoffs so who cares?

#1-norm-fan 12-10-2003 02:01 AM

Oh yeah, and while I still don't think Portis is the best RB in the league, he proved alot in that game. The guy is awesome.

Clinton Portis gave a renewed appreciation for my sig.

Seeing Clinton Portis do what he has done this year and most of last year brings back memories of Terrell Davis, and those are very good memories. Now if Plummer could stay healthy, the Broncos could win the Super Bowl next year. I believe they got set to far back this year when he went down, and don't have the ability to pull themselves up yet. Once Plummer has a year in Shanahan's system under his belt he will definately be the man.

Optik 12-11-2003 09:45 PM

What about Ricky Williams. :(

The Miz 12-11-2003 09:53 PM

clinton portis is getting more attention than jeff garcia because clinton portis isn't the second-best at his position on his team.

Now, all he has to do is get the degenerative knee condition...

Being a Rams fan, I find it quite funny that you're laughing at other runningbacks for being injured.

Oh wait nevermind, Faulk is the poster child for longevity

T.D. (as much as I liked the guy) didn't even last 4 seasons...

Jesus Shuttlesworth 12-13-2003 01:38 AM

Faulk is 30 and still going pretty strong :-\

#1-norm-fan 12-13-2003 01:50 AM

Faulk is nowhere near where he was a few years ago.

DaveWadding 12-13-2003 01:55 AM

Thank you, Capt. Obvious.

#1-norm-fan 12-13-2003 01:58 AM

STFU, I'm doing my Norm MacDonald as Larry King impression!

"I don't care what anyone says, Princess Dianna's death... was a tragedy"

:shifty:

LoDownM 12-13-2003 06:02 AM

 I hate that man

He may not have lasted long, but he was like a supernova you were just in awe when he was there. If he had played longer he could have been the best ever.

Now I'm sad.

Bad Guy 12-22-2003 07:10 AM

I don't appreciate Clinton Portis.
