Blitzgrieg

Is he Mexican or Japanese?

Pepsi Man 01-13-2004 11:03 AM

As far as I know, Mexican.

Paranoid Rattlesnake 01-13-2004 11:06 AM

He's German :shifty:

He's a white dude...or a cracker,honky,caucasian (you take your pick).

He kept up with the luchadors, and even outshines them in
most cases (something that can't really be said for many -
if any - other non Mexican or Japanese stars).

He was a really amazing talent :y: shame he never got too
many mentions until after he retired :(

Actually, that's true. Somehow, I knew that, but forgot about it. Good thing we've got guys like KayfabeMan here.

Where did he mainly wrestle? I'm assuming in Japan or Mexico because of his style of wrestling. I've seen a very select few matches from his WCW days, but other than that I've never heard of him competing anywhere else.

He worked in CA indies before he finally got to WCW. He was only
with WCW for a short while, and then went back to indies for a sh-
ort time. Also before his time in WCW,he did a tour or two in Japan.

I think he also worked in Mexico a little, which I believe is where he
met up with some of WCW's luchadors, and got his tryout with em'.

Thanks, once again, for the great info~!

I just watched Blitzkrieg vs. Juventud Guererra from Spring Stampede 1999, and it was absolutely sickening. It's fast paced action the whole way through, including a mid-air dropkick from the top rope to the ringside floor.

At the end, Juvi plants him with a top rope Juvi-Driver, and absolutely spikes the guy right onto the top of his head, snapping his neck in a really funny way.

Damnit I miss Blitzkrieg.
