With TNA going down the toilet, any chance ROH may take it's place?

If TNA goes under, I would like to see ROH with a TV deal sometime in the future. If they could only get some financial backing, I believe it could do what TNA couldn't, and run head to head with WWE's product.

I would love for this to happen, but my cynical mind says it wont. It would take ages in order for them to challenge WWE, even with financial backing cos of the state wrestling is currently in.

Personally, I think wrestling is in the state it is in, because WWE has no direct competition. ROH, is so fresh and different that I think it would spark the creative juices that have layed dormant in WWE, if challenged. Trouble is, convincing the sponsers of that.

You said it yourself.

Without financial help, and a TON of exposure, they have no chance.

I'd like to see RoH on TV anyway.

I didn't say it would happen right away. In their current condition, no, they wouldn't stand a chance. But if their DVD sales continue to rise they may gain some sponers that would give them the backing to persue a TV deal. Nothing lucrative, but something that would give them more mainstream exposure. From there I think it would really take off.

We're saying the same thing. I love RoH and I'm not one of those people that thinks they need to be more 'crash TV' to draw more fans. The fact that they are more successful as fas as sales means that they are a healthier company financially, but the profit margin isn't enough to make them able to compete as a big time company.

They would need a TV deal before you could even have this conversation.
