When did you like watching The Rock the most?

-Nation of Domination

-Corporate Champ

-People's Champ (leaving The Corporation until leaving for Holywood after Wrestlemania X7)

-Hollywood People's Champ (after making his return in the summer of 2002)

-Hollywood Heel Rock (making his heel return in 2003 from No Way out until Backlash)

-Hollywood Babyface Rock (Made surprise appearance. ie The Hi-Lite Reel, Layed the smackdown on La Resistance and Coach, The Rock comes home segment with Randy Orton, The RAW Divas segment with Tajiri, and making his return to reunite with Mick Foley before Wrestlemania 20)

Wait for the poll :)

PureHatred 04-18-2005 06:39 PM

I voted for The People's Champ. But he was always wildly entertaining.

The Naitch 04-18-2005 06:43 PM

In 2000 he was white lighting hot. Of course, so was the wrestling business in general. I'm a Rock mark so I guess it's hard putting my finger on just one. I chose Summer of 2002 though. I don't know why, but I just remember being so into the Brock vs Rock feud and the match at Summerslam, with the people turning on him, then off camera mouthing off the fans. Mark out moment for me :y:

PullMyFinger 04-18-2005 06:49 PM

CORPORATE CHAMP!!!!

Innovator 04-18-2005 06:50 PM

Hollywood Champ of the Peeps

Hitman84 04-18-2005 06:58 PM

People's Champion.

The best Rock match I ever saw was vs HHH at Backlash 2000. I really loved that match and still enjoy watching it today (I taped it from Channel 4 in UK). I also loved it when he won the Royal Rumble that year. I pissed myself with laughing when he claimed that Headbanger Mosh and Crash Holly were the biggest threats to his winning the Rumble! Michael Cole suggested he should be worried more about the Big Show, to which the Rock's answer was for him to fix himself a nice, tall glass of Shut Up Juice! Fried Gold at its best!

Hollywood Heel was pretty funny so he gets my vote. Besides, The Rock was always funnier and more creative as a heel anyways. Corporate champ comes in a close second.

The Naitch 04-18-2005 07:03 PM

All of 1999-2000 I wanted to see The Rock with the title. Then finally won it at Backlash. It was a great moment. Austin comes out and lays everyone out and him and Rock toast. I recall Rocky taking a tiny little sip and spitting some out. Maybe he's not a big fan of Steveweisers

After that the next thing everyone wanted to see was Austin vs. Rock, but unfortunately I was on vacation so I missed out

Then the next thing I personally wanted to see was Rock turning heel. And yeah, I was on vacation again and missed that one too  :(

Where's the never option?

V 04-18-2005 07:08 PM

Hollywood babyface rock is the worst, i don't even find him that funny anymore

Hollywood Heel was hilarious, and so was Hollywood people's champ, so i'd choose 1 of those. duno whicn one.

hollywood heel.

awesome theme, awesome promos. he was on it as the heel.

Loose Cannon 04-18-2005 07:14 PM

Rock doesn't drink or so I've read a number of times

As for me, in the Nation.

Rockgurl 04-18-2005 07:24 PM

The Rock drinks Whisky:)

And where's the always option?

LK 04-18-2005 07:28 PM

When he was the corporate champ

The Naitch 04-18-2005 07:36 PM

Can't wait for his next appearance on Carlito's Cabana

Gouda 04-18-2005 07:38 PM

When he was the corporate champ.

Inventing some of his catchphrases for the first time. Taking a break in the match to slip on the headset and talk trash. Drinking some water, spitting it on the opponent.

The period where he wore the shirt really stuck out. Cause... he was wearing a shirt. So he looked different.

But yeah. Other than Corporate Champ I like Hollywood Heel Rock.

I always find him kind of dull as a face after awhile.

Gouda 04-18-2005 07:40 PM

Where's the "Rocky Maivia" period in which all he did was have match after match with The Sultan? :shifty:

Hitman84 04-18-2005 07:43 PM

The match with the Sultan at WrestleMania XIII was very good. The Honky Tonk Man's commentary was pure fried gold. He and the King worked very very well together ... the match wasn't that bad either :-\

Marcyo 04-18-2005 09:14 PM

The People's champ was good, with the Hollywood heel as a close second.

Volchok 04-18-2005 09:30 PM

Corporate Champ Rock and Hollywood Heel Rock...

Nark Order 04-18-2005 09:49 PM

I've got love for the Nation

Savio 04-18-2005 10:09 PM

Hollywood heel was my 2nd choice P.C. was my first.

Batsu 04-19-2005 12:28 AM

it would have to be the whole Nation of Domination and Corporate Champ era. That was the G.O.A.T. period for The Rock.

Gone Mad 04-19-2005 12:45 AM

I was always a fan (besides the Maivia time) of the Rock. I had to choose People's champ though, because everything he did was good, just like his last 2 turns.

MVP 04-19-2005 12:58 AM

Anytime after his first heel turn.

Jaded-Dragon 04-19-2005 01:03 AM

Corporate for me. He was the best heel the WWE could of wanted for those times. He had so much charisma in the ring that it was only inevitable that people would cheer him. I loved the angle at Survivor series when he looked like he was going face and then BAM, overnight he was the biggest heel in the WWF. Good times.

Boondock Saint 04-19-2005 01:58 AM

Corporate Champ

Corndad 04-19-2005 02:42 AM

I voted for the Hollywood Rock. Those were some hillarious Promos... Him and the Hurricane came during this time, along with all those "Rock" concerts. Just like a Cocky Heel Rock.

Nick Venom 04-19-2005 03:40 AM

Probably 98.

The Ravishing One 04-19-2005 05:09 AM

Hollywood Heel

Dave Youell 04-19-2005 08:45 AM

I went with Corperate Champ, only because he was that good at being a heel, even when he was getting face pops he could still work in something to get the ehat back with ease.

That and his promo when he did impressions of Bret, Flair, Savage and Hogan was greatness
