Favorite WWE Champion of all time

Who is your favorite WWE champion of all time?

olympic hitman 04-23-2005 01:00 PM

My favorite WWE Champion of all-time would be Bret Hart. He was a good technical wrestler and at the same time, produced stellar matches with guys like Diesel, Sid, and HBK. Mr. Perfect vs. Bret Hart was cool too. My favorite moment was when Bret had the match with Issac Yankem and the loser had to suck the mud of the toes of the winner[with Lawler being Yankem's manager]......

Seeing Lawler throwing up was one of those classic comedy moments in "Sports Entertainment".....

The Corporate Rock was definitely great...

Stone Cold was also another great one...but my fav of all time is Bret Hart's Hart Foundation Title era.

Xero 04-23-2005 01:20 PM

Austin in the Attitude era. As much as JR can be annoying, I will always love his "STONE COLD! STONE COLD! STONE COLD!!!!" at WrestleMania XIV. It sends chills down my spine.

Kurt Angle

HBK

LK 04-23-2005 04:43 PM

JBL

:shifty: What

NoRoolz 04-23-2005 05:01 PM

Austin in the attitude era.
Corporate Rock.
And for some reason I liked Triple H's late 99-2000 run with the title.

Of what I've seen those are my 3 favorites.

M. Banana 04-23-2005 05:16 PM

Michael Cole

The Fitz 04-23-2005 05:32 PM

Bret Hart or Steve Austin.

I never understand this. Up until his return from the leg injury, Triple H was legitimately one of the best workers in the business and easily the best heel in the WWE. There's no shame in being a mark for Trips in 2000.

My personal favorites are People's champ Rock and Angle.

TW Mangrove 04-23-2005 05:46 PM

Bob Backlund...not than any of you will remember that. He's only slightly better than cena. :wtf:

DaveBrawl 04-23-2005 05:53 PM

Bret "Hitman" Hart

Fox 04-23-2005 06:03 PM

1 - The Rock, Corportation, 1998-99

2 - Triple H, DX, early 2000 (mainly for his matches with Cactus Jack)

3 - Chris Jericho, Undisputed Champion, 2001 (just seeing him with both belts hung over his shoulders was a dream come true)

Mike the Metal Ed 04-23-2005 06:24 PM

Mankind because I am a Foley mark.

Funky Fly 04-23-2005 06:36 PM

Bret Hart. No one else compares.

Marcyo 04-23-2005 07:45 PM

Bret Hart.

V 04-23-2005 07:47 PM

austin

Flair1672 04-23-2005 07:53 PM

HHH in late 1999 to early 2000.

XL 04-23-2005 10:52 PM

Have to agree that HHHs original reigns were stellar.

I enjoyed the Brock-Angle reigns on SmackDown!

Seeing Benoit lift the title was great, the title run was however meh!

Corporate Rock was great.

Oh and Booker T and RVD!

Yeah, ok, still waiting for these but whatever!

Savio 04-23-2005 10:55 PM

Kane- No wait Brock.

Don't really count him holding the wCw title when he arrived as he was already champ. so essentially the B-man has never won either of the top titles in the company! :y:

Impact! 04-23-2005 11:54 PM

The Naitch...............what it's real :shifty:

John la Rock 04-24-2005 12:43 AM

The Rock's reign in 1999 and 2000.

Corporate Rock ruled!!!

LK 04-24-2005 06:46 AM

BTW my real favourite champion was the Rock back in the Corporation days or maybe Triple H prior to his leg injury.

Hitman84 04-24-2005 07:10 AM

Bret 'HITMAAAAAN' Hart

Rammsteinmad 04-24-2005 07:51 AM

Chris Benoit

I really enjoyed JBL's reign though.

thuganomicalcrippler 04-24-2005 09:59 AM

I've only been watching for the last two years, and my favourite champion has been Angle.

Although I seriously enjoyed having JBL as OUR WWE champion.

The Answer 04-24-2005 10:11 AM

Hulk Hogan's first Hulkamania title reign.

James Steele 04-24-2005 10:53 AM

I think we all now my answer by now:

CHRIS FUCKING JERICHO

redoneja 04-24-2005 11:04 AM

Bret Hart
Besides him, Undertaker during the Ministry

Jordan 04-24-2005 11:10 AM

Shawn Micheals WM 12 - Royal Rumble 97

He beat Kurt like 4 weeks after he first arrived.

Angelina2K 04-24-2005 02:35 PM

Triple H before his leg injury for me (he torn his quad didn't he? :shifty: )

and of course Chris Jericho, those two belts, with one over each shoulder =
