Dammit! I hate TNA's ring!
 

This has been bugging me for so long... but every time I watch TNA, I really can't stand the "Six-Sided Ring". Anyone else share my view?

I like it, because it's different

Actually quite the opposite for me...I have been watching my Victory Road and Turning Point DVD (can't wait til my Nevermore and Final Resolution arrive) so much latly that when I watch WWE it seems odd how the ring is shaped...and yet I have been watching equally as much ECW tapes and never find their ring to be shaped funny...oh well.

Long story short I like the 6 Sided Ring, and it allows for a few things that they couldn't do otherwise. And their official reasoning for it was it would better the X-Division.

It seems too small. A normal ring seems more "TV friendly" if that makes sense.

And the "better suited for the X-Division" thing seems ridiculous. The WCW had an incredible cruiser division and the only difference in their ring set-up is that there was more tension in the ropes to provide more spring.

I'm sure it was just done to give TNA a different look.

On another note, I love the "scoreboard" that FSN puts at the top of the screen.

I have hated it since the day they announced they were going to do it.

I personally don't like it especially for tag matches

When they first announced it, I was like :roll:.

But really, I like it. I think the TV-friendly comment is valid though.

I liked the ring when it was first brought in. I thought it was cool to see something different for once.

Right now im undicided. While I still like that its different than everyone else, its weird to watch because it seems smaller and the wrestlers dont move as fast against the ropes as they would in the original ring.

I like it in some instances but hate it in other instances.

No gimmick tag team matches look ackward in the six sided ring. However, in gimmick matches ie: cage match with XXX and AMW it allows the wrestlers to pull off some otherwise impossible moves, such as Elix Skipper's cage walk.

But generally I think there are more Pro's than there are Con's.
